We have been having problems with our Virgin, but now they are offering us a 'best' wedding package for the resort for us to stay booked with them. It sounds excellent and the ceremony set up looks great on the gazebo...

BUT it means we are getting married between 6pm-7:30pm.... opposed to our booked 4pm ceremony! Its only a 2hr difference but doesnt it get dark quickly around that time in Jamaica!!

We are wondering about taking the pictures so late in the evening.... will people start getting bored with such as late start in the day... the whole wedding (ceremony/photos/reception) won't finish til 11pm, and there are 15children attending!!

Whats the light like for pictures in Jamaica around 6-7pm?
How can we keep the children entertained till 11pm!!

Help

I don't know when it gets dark, confront the resort about it, and explain to them no night wedding. My fiance went to a wedding where they had it planned right before sunset, so they were ending their vows as the sun was setting, which turned out to be amazing pictures, also 11pm is nothing, most normal receptions Ive gone to go til at least midnight to 1 am.
