Stranged dreams about bathrooms?

Question

I usually don't look too much into "The meaning of dreams", but I thought I would just see what other people think of this:

I seem to have a lot of weird dreams about public bathrooms. When I walk into a public bathroom in my dreams, there is always a "secret passageway", usually in the last stall that leads to some other place. Sometimes to another bathroom, sometimes to a broken-down industrial area, sometimes to a forest, or a number of other odd places. One time I dreamed I was in the mall and I walked into the womens' bathroom. There was an escalator that lead to a whole other mall restricted only to women!

I dunno, I'm thinking I need to go to the bathroom when I'm asleep and that's why it happens. Other opinions? Easy 10 points for an interesting answer.

And NO I don't always go into the womens' bathrooms in the dreams; only that particular instance above. (And who knows why then, it's a dream after all)

It seems as though you are leaving a "public" area of your life (who you are in front of your friends) to explore more "private" areas of your being (who you are really). Exploring thoughts or feelings that you don't feel comfortable expressing in front of your friends, and sometimes exploring thoughts or feelings that you fear others might consider "feminine" so you keep these thoughts or qualities to yourself, but explore them in the dream state. We all have a "public" person, and a "private" person, and some of us are more "private" than others. Regardless of what gender you are, we all have qualities that pertain to the opposite gender as well, but some of us are more comfortable with those qualities than others. A bathroom can be a symbol of purification or renewal, in leaving the "public" for the "private" area, maybe you are seeking renewal at who you are in your inner self, away from the prying eyes of others of who you feel you need to be during the day...Sometimes to explore your spiritual side, sometimes to examine your personal feelings about your work life, sometimes to explore your feminine side, sometimes to explore choices....

Now, I'm being TOTALLY SERIOUS: could it be that the bathroom is where most people masturbate? I dream a lot about public bathrooms too, and it's usually accompanied by cicrcumstances of danger, or anxiety. I dream a lot about industrial areas as well. I've never found secret passages, though.

hahaha a whole other mall that would be awesome.

nah but really man i think maybe you have like a fear of public bathrooms and so in your dreams you feel the need to further explore it in hopes to quell your fear. and those weird dreams definately show you explorin the bathroom.

either that, or you are just curious about.. (i know it sounds completely strange but roll w/ me blah)..other people and how they...conduct their business so to speak. bathroom wise...and maybe even bedroom wise.

think about if you're curious about any of that and maybe it will make sense...

and think about the whole fear of public bathrooms thing. because i mean come on...who couldn't be at least a little scared of them?
my best friend is terrified. she's only gone in a public bathroom probably 3 times in her life, and that was b/c her bladder was going to explode.

I think I see how you associate private=secret and how bathrooms do have passages that are drains. Maybe your private life is not interesting enough for you and you want a more private eye type of life of travel and mystery solving. I think that you view women as priviledged. Best I could do.

it must be which you're approximately to pass to the bathing room on your sleep and characteristic a very stable way of retaining it and on no account awaken, so which you carry it constantly and purely dream of those surprising places to pass and relieve your self. Then it ought to ought to do with at sometime in you existence wanting to pass to the bathing room and not having that bathing room available and so on your sleep you're on no account without one in actuality they have become so important to you which you have made them complex places with proper furniture in them. sharon

im thinking its a mix of too much harry potter and a full bladder...lol idk. seriously. mebbe you have always subconciously believed that a bathroom should be more interesting than it actually is?
