since the female reproductive organs are located internally, the only way you could tell if your cat is a male with undescending testicals or if your cat is a hermaphrodite, is to ask the vet to do a through exam to determine the sex of the cat
your vet may even have to give the cat an x-ray to determine the sex
I have heard and read about the health issues surrounding the possibility of a hermaphrodite kitten; if the vet determines that your cat is a hermaphrodite then you may want to consider altering your kitten to avoid certain health problems such as complicated pregnancy, and high risk of chronic urinary tract infections which, if left unattended, could affect other digestive organs
until you have your vet examine your cat, there is a strong possibility that the cat is simply a male with undescending testies; if the vet determines that your cat is a male then your vet may advise you of any problems this could bring about
In either case, I'd like to let you know you are not alone:
there are many instances in which a cat has been sexed incorrectly, even by professionals, and this is not the first instance I've heard of a hermaphrodite pet, hear are a few links that might help you realize how surprisingly common this is:
http://www.messybeast.com/mosaicism2.htm#hermaphrodite
http://www.petplace.com/cats/hermaphrodite-and-pseudohermaphrodite-in-cats/page1.aspx
While this is a confusing issue, you really should consult your vet for guidance in sexing the cat, and in whether the cat is truely in good health or at risk for health issues.
hope the links are informative-good luck!

No it is not weird. It is nature. How old are your two cats? Do you know how to care for them and their kittens? Have you the money for vet fees if things go wrong? As to How many female cats do male cats impregnate in their lifetime? how long is a piece of string? If he is the only entire male in a five mile radius he will mate with every unspayed female in that area. Then he will do the same again next time they come on heat. And will do so year in year out until another tom comes along and drives him off or kills him. OH, he may even be your cats sire. And could even have mated with a daughter of his to produce them. So you may have problems if this is so. Beulah

Go to the vet. If your kitten is a female, then what you think of a s being a ball (testicle) might be a tumour or something else. Or maybe the kitten is a male.

I agree that next time you bring your cat in for a check up and shots, bring it up to your vet and see what they think.
I have no experience with this kind of thing in cats, but I have seen it happen in rabbits. They don't do anything for rabbits with both parts, but I don't know about cats.
good luck

When you take it in for its yearly shots, ask the vet to look. Anyway it should be neutered and/or spayed, if it is capable of reproduction.
Or, you could sell it to a circus for the feline hermaphrodite act....

i WAS CUTTING TEH HAIR ON MY MALES CATS BELLY THIS WEEKEND HE WAS MATTED UP, AND I WAS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE LITTLE "BUMP" WAS NEAR HIS TAIL... I REALIZED IT IT WAS HIS EQUIPMENT! LOL
