I would have to say that if your parents are being kind enough to let you go to the concert, and you're obviously able to access internet, just give up on the party. I know it sucks, but it's kind of a packages deal if you're punished. You could also try talking to your parents CALMLY about the party and DON'T beg or make false promises. Own up to what you did, explain that you know you were in the wrong and you accept being in trouble but you feel that attending a party to celebrate both the end of the summer AND the beginning of the new school year would be beneficial for you. If they flat out say no, just tell them you thought it was worth a try, and you're still grateful that they're letting you go to the concert. Make it seem like THEY are the good guys (which all parents want to be) and you may be surpirised how they react. Good luck! :)

I think your parents need to learn how to discipline.
Why take away one fun thing, yet let you go do something else that is fun? When I got grounded, I got EVERYTHING taken away. And my dad didn't care about any concerts or parties I wanted to go to.
I think you should get over that party. If you were my kid, and I took away your cellphone, you wouldn't be going to any concerts or parties eithers... Or watching tv, playing games, etc. for that matter
And there wouldn't be any chances of sneaking out either. One thought about that, and I would nail your windows shut.

i remember before, everytime i told to my parents i'm going to somewhere..i always said....''i'm not saying these for you to permit,i'm just letting you know where i'm going''..if they will get mad and say no..then i will reply:''how will you know that i can handle myself and i'm worth to be trusted if you wouldn't allow me.?''from then i have no problem going out..but i always value the trust,i always put in my mind that once the trust lost it's hard to gain back.i don't sneak out ,parents are not always right neither wrong,i'll think and listen what they say but i decide for my life.
i know it can't be possible to all coz mostly parents are authoritative...but it's a matter of how your parents trust you and what kind of child are you.
try to be open to your parents, don't be afraid to say sorry if there's a mistake.and value whatever they give to you, especially the trust.

All you can do is ask, or give them an even trade, tell them they can keep your cell phone longer if they just let you go to this back to school party, and give them a time you will come home, and a phone number.

it's called communication. You talk to them about how long you are restricted and accept what they say. You have to prove to them in the future that you are trustworthy.
