what do you mean build body? what is your exact goals and what is your current physical state, and how far are you willing to go to achieve these goals?

You didn't mention your age, weight and your aim of building a body (what level you wanna go with)

but if you train very hard ( i mean VERY HARD then by the end of 4 months you will be physically fit ) but the training should be like this

1.twice in a week Aerobics in the morning (min 3 hours including jogging stretching, skipping and other simple excercise)
2. 6 days a week heavy work out in gym ( min 90 min)
3. 1 day complete rest with steam bathing and relaxed swimming

But i'll suggest you go to a fitness trainer get his suggestion from him and proceed
If possile have partner to do these things so that you will be encouraged to do so

Both. Drink a lot of water, eat a heavy breakfast, medium lunch, and small dinner. Don't eat more than 2500 calories. Energy bars/drinks are not really recommended. Work out about 1-3 hours a day. Work out at least half the week.... umm... thats all the info I can think up of for now.

Build muscle, eat allot of protein and get on a good healthy weight gaining method. You must gain wiehght and muslce or you will have nothing to tone up. Bulk up then get cut up and worry about eating very selective foods.
