would 100k volts kill plants that are grounded if the electricity was applied to the top of the plant?

It depends on the resistance of the plant. For example if you are trying to electrocute a tree, they are virtually insulators. Try electrocuting a weed instead, if you have access to 100k volts, most likely it doesn't have much amperage, if it has anything close to a few millivolts I wouldn't attempt the experiment. Good luck and don't get killed.

yes....it will kill the plants....b'coze 100k produces so much amount of heat when it passes thro' .
