...are extreme headaches and fainting some of the symptoms?

Probably not. Cataracts are supposed to be eye related right? If I'm right, then it shouldn't be so extreme to having headaches and fainting. It should only effect your vision with fading colors or blurry and stuff...

these are some of the symptoms.
* Clouded, blurred or dim vision
* Increasing difficulty with vision at night
* Sensitivity to light and glare
* Halos around lights
* The need for brighter light for reading and other activities
* Frequent changes in eyeglass or contact lens prescription
* Fading or yellowing of colors
* Double vision in a single eye

No. Cataracts is a clouding of the lens in your eye. headaches and fainting would be unrelated.
