I find it utterly amazing how these kids show blatant disregard for rules and regulations. What's more amazing is that people actually answer the question for them. No one is doing any one favors by answering questions due to laziness.

Should this problem be addressed more vehemently and what can be done about it?

Don't get me wrong. I'm all in favor of guiding and helping but I refuse to simply answer a question straight forward. It's fine if they get it elsewhere. At least they attempted to put some effort into it.

I agree - I truly wish there was a crackdown on kids who post thier homework, pretty much expecting it to be done for them.

Don't these people who post the answers realize they aren't helping these kids learn anything? And where the heck are these kids' parents??

It's bad enough kids rarely crack open a book, now they are getting too lazy to do a google search for an answer...sad.

Is it any wonder our school systems are failing miserably when it comes to standardized test scores?

Yes some do use it as a means of getting their homework done for them. I usually try to help someone if they are stuck on a topic in history or want to know where a good place is to find some information. If they ask about details and so on as it could relate to home work the most I will do is guide them to a website that will have the answers on it somewhere. I do not just give them the answers. I mean I had to work my butt off for my degree in history, so I am not just going to allow others to slide by without having to do any work in order to answer a home work question.

You know what... its sad but its the internet. If they do not find the answer on yahoo answers they will find it somewhere else. I think it is ok to direct these kids to some helpful websites or explain to them in steps how to get an answer. It is just like tutoring but it is ONLINE... and at least these kids are DOING their homework. Posting the questions on the internet is more effort then some lazy kids are willing to put in. So... let it go

No i think of i'm a splash aggravated via them, yet then there are worse issues that tire me to no end on YA. the toddlers i will pass without rancour yet some human beings listed right here are purely undeniable evil. There are the few childrens who admit to the homework and are truly requesting help. those i will help if i will, that's a rarity although. yet many times the wee brats are in seek of a speedy way out of the working end of a weeknight! I pass away them on my own, after some weeks on YA you get to be attentive to what questions are obtrusive homework responsibilities.

most of the kids who do this are more or less lazy anyways...so on that point it doesn't mater..
its a shame i agree.. but on another point its public schools.. cant get much of an education there ether... just a place to brainwash kids to vote for socialism and make them believe republicans are evil
