I tend to agree with Kati S. I highly encourage you to see an ophthalmologist because what you are describing sounds a lot like the symptoms of macular degeneration or a number of other eye disorders.

No, I do not believe that hallucinations are messages from God. Hallucinations by definition are chaotic sensations. Look in Bible at the times God sent visions to men. They are all very distinct, not chaotic. Although we may not always understand the imagery, there is definitely a clear-cut message from God. Also, there is always either someone from God or God Himself in the vision to explain what's going on. The fogginess you saw does not appear to contain any clear-cut, distinct messages, nor did you see/hear any interpretations from God. I would attribute these to a medical condition instead.

In general hallucinations are not from God, They can be the result of physical or mental illness or psychological stress. The type of phenomena you are describing does not sound like a hallucination. Low blood sugar can do something similar.

see, that's very debatable... i had a 'hallucination' that i was in a serious car accident, and later on there was a pileup where i would have been at the same time. i believe that God was warning me so that my family and i were safe. and if they were God's work, then why do the children in Medjugorie (check spelling) and Fatima see visions of Mary and different saints, but yet everyone else present cannot.

but what you're talking about sounds more like an actual problem with your eyesight. have you thought of being checked for macular degeneration?

God does not send hallucinations!
Your doctor should give you some meds or send you to a psychiatrist. You may need some anti phsycosis drugs or maybe your dr. should have you get and MRI on your brain for possible tumors or scars.

If your blood pressure and cholesterol are ok, I would take a vacation. See, God does nothing wrong. He gets all the credit for good done in the world, but NO blame. It must be you! Seriously, it sounds like stress.....

No it is not messages from God. God does not need to communicate with people through hallucinatory experiences because he gave us the Bible. He doesn't need to use any other means of communication because it would take away from validity of the Bible.

But, lets say EVEN if he were to communicate with you directly. He would not need to give you crazy hallucaitons, he could have made himself very clear as he communicated with people in the Bible. His messages were clear and direct, he spoke to people most of the time, or sent angels.

You would be advised to remember that "god" is nothing more than a nonsense word created by man to explain away all of the things we can't yet understand.
