Almost all religions are tolerant. These include Islam, Christians, Judaism and Buddhism.

It is not the religion but the fanatics (normally not very knowledgeable in religion) who are not tolerant towards other religious followers.

If you read history book, you can find that in Prophet Muhammad's life time, Muslims and Christians have a very good relationship.

Note for the others who are not aware of the facts: Most (if not all) of the wars in Prophet Muhammad's life time are against the Arab infidels (the "Jahiliyah") and not against Christians.

Islam and Christian taught the principle of "Love your neighbor". Try ask ourselves, how many Muslims and Christians follow this teaching?

I believe that religious fundamentalism of any religion is the most intolerant and exclusive form of religion. Because it relies on unquestioning and unthinking obedience to the letter of the law as understood by that specific group. Even Paul said, "...not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life." (2 Corinthians 3:6b).

ALL the religions that believe in some text written ages ago by "people" who probably had an agenda unknown to those reading it today. That includes Jews, Christians and Muslims.

Seriously, how many people even "begin" to listen to their older siblings and parents when it comes to laying down the law, never mind some freaks that they have never even heard of or met? Come on, name two, no five, no... ONE name of the people who decided which material was to be included in the "Bible".

intolerant/exclusive

To the people above me,

ISLAM?? are you kidding me.

"Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious; for your Lord knows best who have strayed from His Path, and who are truly guided." Quran 16:125

Yes very intolerant and exclusive indeed.

Islam, by far. The extremists want to kill all Americans, Christians, and atheists alike, because we are all infidels. The Muslims believe that every person on earth was born Muslim, and those who do not follow Allah have defected from the faith. They must be restored to the faith, usually at the point of the sword, or killed. Christianity is nothing like that. Christians are by far the most tolerant of all religions, because we allow them to believe as they want, even if they hate us, without threatening their lives.

Intolerant religion would have to be a tie between extreme christian and extreme muslim sects. Most exclusive would have to be scientology, if you consider that a religion.

I do not judge any religion. People that do not agree with me might find me intolerant. Therefore, I am just focus in spreading the good news of God's Kingdom, for this Kingdom has the solution to all of our problems.

Well, that question is based on definitions of what religion you know anything about?
How many do you know something about? And, how many have not acted the same way at times?

Well, I think that both Christianity and Islam teach "My way or the highway." An extremist Muslim will kill you if you don't convert, an extremist Christian will just pester you so much you'll wish you were dead.
