Besides seeing a vet? By the age and the symptoms, my best guess is kidney disease. If it is not already too late, a strict diet will be needed and IV treatment may be needed to dillute the toxins accumulating in her blood.

Greetings, 10 years is pretty middle aged for a dog and at that time they develop problems usually with the kidneys. But you said she hasn't been well lately, did she eat any of the contaminated foods from a few months ago maybe? What kinds does she eat? She needs to see the vet because it could be something like a furball, blockage, kidney problems, diabetes, many different things. Until you can get her there, depending on the time where you live, instead of dry food try some wet food to see if she can keep it down. Make sure she has alot of water and attention. It sounds like she's shaky on her legs, could be dehydration from throwing up or something else. Get her looked at asap.

Your lab is in trouble. A weight loss of 15 pounds to a lab would be like you losing 25% of your total body weight. So if you weighed 100 pounds, you'd have lost down to 75 pounds!!! That is a HUGE weight loss, and it indicates a very serious illness. Panting and yelping are both PAIN. If he were my dog, I would have him in the car over to the emergency vet tonight. Get him to a good vet as soon as humanly (and humanely) possible. Your friend is in big trouble, and he deserves to see his doctor NOW. vet tech

Take her to a Vet quick. She could be going into kidney failure or something serious. Check the food you are feeding her. Is it a brand that has been on the recent recalls? Some stores have even been caught selling recalled products!
Here's a site to read about that:

Hope your dog will be okay, but the earlier the treatment the better the chances are for recovery, whether related to food or not and whether precursor to kidney failure or something else going on.

You have an emergency situation. Call the ER vet tonight or first appt Tues morning.

In the meantime, err on the side of caution that she as a ruptured disc and keep her in a crate so she doesn't do any more damage to the spinal cord. More on disc problems http://users.cyberport.net/~milnerwm/fastfacts/DODGERflyer.pdf

Hopefully she does not have disc disease. The vet will be able to also check her for serious problems others have mentioned.

Go to a vet ASAP. She could be diabetic, she could have kidney failure, she could have any number of things that no one here can diagnose because there aren't any vets here that can examine your dog.

Don't want to alarm you, but my poodle had the same symptoms and it was renal failure. Take her to the vet immediately.
