Dear,

In a way, yes, it's a gap.

Lets do some calculations.

In the second thought, ladies average end....... at 45 (normal cases). Therefore 45 - 21 = 24 years to come.

Men retired at no age. (normally until 80 years). Therefore
45 + 24 = 69 years (24 years later).

Do you thinks it's a gap?.

24 years later:

Your friend will be 45 years
Her boyfriend will be 69 years.

Now you see how it's works. There not much different.
Your friend can take him. No gap in age and using age as difference is not an excuse.

Yes it is, although it does work for some- definetley not all, it could be they need a father figure to feel like someone is going to take care of them or it could be a financial thing, they say things go better with coke, but everything goes better with cash. It could be a maturity thing a really smart woman maybe needs a more mature man and vise a versa-Although it probally would be easier to marry no more than 5 yrs between a couple how many guys leave there spouse for a younger woman. If your already younger he'll have to think of a diff. excuse to leave you huh Too many variables.

Thats not just an excuse 45 would have a much higher level of maturity than a 21 year old. He is more than twice her age, old enough to be her father. 21 is so young, only just out of being a teenager, when she is 30 it could work.

Yes, it's a big age difference. The man is more than twice her age and is old enough to be her father. And yes, he's probably using it as a REASON (which is a different thing than an excuse) not to date her, and it's a very good reason not to date her.

That's a big difference. It might work out. But, I'm a little wary about a guy that wants young girls. I would think maybe he's a pervert.

Also, he may look at women more as objects that need to stay pretty and young for his benefit. But, you never know. He might be sweet and loving and just happened to fall for a younger woman. People do act younger these days. Maybe he's young at heart.

The age gap is too big when the girl is in college and the guy is settling for retirement.

It is a fact that that is a big age gap, but in the end, it`s their life and nobody elses

Yes, that's a HUGE difference. He is literally old enough to be her father. There is no common frame of reference there, and their life experiences are WAY too different to be a healthy relationship.

that is a HUGE age difference! 21 year olds have very different interests and life goals than 45 year olds! although it may seem like they have a lot in common, she will eventually get tired of him and want to live her life, but it may have gone by! tell her not to bother!

Yeah it's a big gap but if they really like each other then age ain't nothing but a number.
