drinking cold water will burn a few more calories because your body has to warm it up to its temperature but its very few so...who cares? (a piece of gum has 5cal and nobody cares about that much)
one pound of fat is about 3500cal

It takes more than drinking cold water.

Try low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy. Brisk walking is great for burning body fats.

It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.

Details such as my experience, meals, snacks, recipes, foods to buy, reading labels, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog

calories are a measurment of how much energy will be needed to burn it off. For example, depending on the amounto f ur daily exercise/ intensity of the workout, you will need anywhere from like 1500 to 2500 calories per day to have the right amount of "feul" for your body. Most poeple eat way more thn they need and exercise way less. Calories arn't the onyl thing tough. It also depend son the type of calories. you want some carbs but not too much, you want healthy substances in your foods not like trans fat n too much sodieumm. Its a difficult, but nessecary balance to maintian to keep healthy....

Its hard to say hw many calories are in a pound really....it depends on the types of substances that are in your food, ur body will use absolutly no trans fat so it just gets stored as...fat, but if you have calciuma nd stuff it will use baisically ll of it, no fat storage since its being used. When you starve yourself tough, ur body tried to storte every little ounce of food that u eat, so ull gain weiht quiker once u start eating again.
