That is just not true. Revelations says that the number of those in heaven is a number no man could count. It is too many to count. We can defintely count a stadium of 144,000 people.
Rev. 7:9 After this I looked and a vast host appeared which no one could count gathered out of every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages. These stood before the throne and the Lamb. (in heaven) They were attired with white robes and palm branches in their hands.
The JW'S have a way of explaining this away. The 144,000 are specifically Jewish, virgin men who will be chosen by God during the tribulation to preach the kingdom gospel (not the kingdom hall gospel) and then they will be killed and become martyrs. Rev. 14:1-5
In the last days during the time of Jacob's Trouble, the "Times of the Gentiles" will be finished. The tribulation is for the Jewish children of God. It's purpose is to bring salvation to millions of Jews. Through Christ. The Messiah. Yeshua (Jesus), not Micheal the Arch Angel. ( another topic they also have taught) Study the word. Don't just go by what the JW's are saying the interpretation is. Go further than that, go deeper and find out. In the end there is only one interpretation.

Jehovah Witnesses do not believe they are the only ones that will make it to Heaven. There has been many people of that 144,000 who weren't Jehovah Witnesses. Some? Yes. All? No.
The 144,000 is made up of spiritual Israel. The tribes stated in the Book of Revelations aren't all actual tribes (some weren't even considered tribes). Are they virgins? Not literally but spiritually. A form of fornication is spiritual fornication, which is why they are called virgins.
I guess some people missed Revelation 1:1, where it clearly states these things were presented in signs. This means most things that are talked about in the book of revelation arent taken literally.

That is not true. The 144,000 refer to those selected from the 12 tribes of Israel who are present on earth during the Great Tribulation.

What shall we say, then? Is there injustice with God? Never may that become so! For he says to Moses: “I will have mercy upon whomever I do have mercy, and I will show compassion to whomever I do show compassion. So, then, it depends, not upon the one wishing nor upon the one running, but upon God, who has mercy. - Romans 9:14-16
For he is not a Jew who is one on the outside, nor is circumcision that which is on the outside upon the flesh. But he is a Jew who is one on the inside, and [his] circumcision is that of the heart by spirit, and not by a written code. The praise of that one comes, not from men, but from God - Romans 2:28-29
Clearly who goes to heaven is not in the hands of any man, but God and who can question his wisdom? Clearly there is a difference between a fleshly Jew and a spiritual Jew and quite obviously, spiritual Jews are the ones who have God's favor. Instead of becoming overly concerned about what Jehovah's Witnesses or anyone else believes, why not simply "keep working out YOUR own salvation with fear and trembling;"? (Philippians 2:12) Why not "do YOUR utmost to be found finally by him (God) spotless and unblemished and in peace? (2Peter 3:14) Then, whatever reward God deems appropriate for you, surely you will receive

Have no fear, little flock, because your Father has approved of giving you the kingdom.”—LUKE 12:32.
Jesus was speaking to his disciples, and he called them a “little flock.” He was also speaking to those to whom Jehovah would ‘give the kingdom.’ Compared with the vast crowds that would accept Jesus in later times, this group were indeed few in number. They were also considered precious because they were chosen for a remarkable future, to be used in royal service. Their Father, the Great Shepherd, Jehovah, calls the little flock with a view to their receiving a heavenly inheritance in connection with Christ’s Messianic Kingdom.
Seeing them as heavenly singers with harps in their hands, the apostle John wrote: “I saw, and, look! the Lamb standing upon the Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads. These are the ones that did not defile themselves with women; in fact, they are virgins. These are the ones that keep following the Lamb no matter where he goes. These were bought from among mankind as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb, and no falsehood was found in their mouths; they are without blemish.”—Revelation 14:1, 4, 5.
Wishing to go to heaven just because you want to.. does,nt make it so. God makes the Call.

Not unless they are all Jews that go through 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation then accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

Absolutely not: there is no proof that anything of an individual survives death, much less any evidence to demonstrate the existence of a mythical realm such as heaven. This is more of the same kind of sad, pathetic dogma and irrational thinking that characterizes religion.

to them it is true but they are believing a lie.
it also depends on what you mean by heaven. if by heaven you mean simply "in God's presence" whether on Earth or somewhere else, then all believers will in a sense be in heaven one day. I believe the 144,000 in revelation is referring to those from the 12 tribes of Israel (not the 12 tribes of charles taze russel) who are saved and enter a relationship with God through Christ and not on the basis of their birthright. in a broader sense it may be referring to the whole body of believers incl. those grafted into the promises made to Abraham.
either way it is a non-essential discussion which distracts from the ultimate point of Revelation which is that Jesus is returning one day to rule and judge all men.
"Communion" or the Lord's supper, is the taking of the bread and wine in remembrance of Christ's sacrifice on the Cross. It is for all true believers who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
