i feel really bad for ford for some unusual reason. it might be the fact my family owns a lincoln aviator and a mustang. is there any people who know if they are doing any better in the market or are predicting for some kind of comback?

Ford iis starting to turn the corner. Last quarter they showed a profit. Ford is also improving quality all the time. They are putting in more computers and electronics to let the workers know when something isn't right with the car during the assembly process. They are also coming out with new models as fast as they can. The new Taurus and the Edge are a couple of these.

While I would never buy one.But in the last test of who builds better cars. Ford beat Toyota. Not that that says much. All the people without a clue thinks Japan builds the ultimate cars are so wrong.

what gives you the idea that Ford is doing any worse than any of the other domestic manufacturers?
I see GM and Chrysler giving their cars away too...Ford didn't just add the lifetime power train warranty to their line to help lure back customers..Chrysler did.
All I can say is...if the American public keeps buying the imports... we won't have to worry about them for much longer.
Americans putting American companies out of business..

All cars made out of plastic are crap.
Trouble with Ford is they are hard to service.

all i can tell you is fords better ideas all SUCK BIG TIME. they keep making things more and more impossible for us to work on. the older cars were great why did they muck them up. a fuel pump on the side of the block was great and easy to replace and cheap now they put 2 or 3 fuel pumps on a car and of all places INSIDE THE GAS TANK> that is sooo stupid on so many levels,,, but the gas tank must be removed and the pump cost way over $100.oo so the repair people get the big bucks thats how they are screwing us,,, I will NEVER buy a NEW car and no one else should till they get the message we are sick of being screwed. i hope they go bankrupt they dont care about us.
