I've been Wiccan for over 20 years, and never worshippped Satan, not even unconsciously.
If you believe in the bible, Mankind has the power to know good from evil, and I *know* my gods are good.

Wicca's a neopagan religion. It's not devil worship, or satanic at all. Normally you worship both god and goddess, but there are some groups that are different. The 'spells' can be compared to 'prayers', if that makes it easier to understand. And most modern religions take their practices from wicca, like candle burning, chanting, robe wearing, incense, etc. And there isn't a set group of laws or commandments really, but the wiccan rede is "An' it harm none, do what ye will."

yes, it is an earth based religion that worships the God and The Godess. Yes it is a pagan religion, and no it has nothing to do with Satan. Although I believe that the Wiccan religion is just an occultified version of Christianity considering their moral values. The Wiccan rede "Do what thou wilt as long is it harm none" wouldn't seem out of place in a Christian Sermon. At least not in my opinion.

Not as much as I should since I know there are wiccans in my area. I believe, correct me if I am wrong, that it is more of a worship of nature than anything. I believe they see a higher being in anything, tree, blade of grass, stream of water etc.
I am aware that wiccans are not even close to Satanists. Otherwise, I am fairly ignorant of the religion and what the rites and rituals of it are.
BTW, I am Jewish.

A polytheistic Neo-Pagan nature faith stimulated by using quite a few pre-Christian western ecu ideals, whose crucial deity is a mom goddess and including using organic magic and benign witchcraft. a team or community of believers or followers of this faith. maximum Christians won't admit this yet as far as different religions circulate Wicca isn't a bad thank you to stay. some elementary Christian suggestions are from Wicca. besides as another pre-christian practices. there's a ton of issues taken from the Pagans that Christians prepare on a on an primary basis foundation.

Well I know they don't worship the devil. I worked with a girl who was wiccan and she explained some things to me but I will honestly say I don't know much about it.

One thing that should be clarified is that Wiccans don't "worship the trees" - we worship and honor the God and Goddess. We also recognize the spirit of the Divine that is found in everything, including trees, animals, each other.
I recognize the spirit of the Divine in my co-workers, that integral part of them that connects them to the larger energy of the Universe.
That doesn't mean that I worship them or think they're Gods.
It's the same with trees or animals.

I've looked into a lot of different religions. I read a few Llewellyn books about it. I only remember widdershins (counter-clockwise) and skyclad(naked). It's a generally matriarchal society based on nature worship? I think that's right... "An it harm none do what thou wilt" is a nice philosophy.

Wiccans put a lot of stock in nature, the cycles of the planet (seasons, moon cycle, etc.) Wiccans believe in something similar to karma put out good vibes to attract good vibes to you type of thing.. Wiccans believe in deities (each Wiccans chosen deities may differ)..
Wiccans are often portrayed as evil or malicious which is untrue as wiccans believe in the karma thing I mentioned earlier.. Wiccans believe in participating in certain ceremonies at certain times of the year to celebrate and thank nature for certain events.. (I.E. ceremonies in the fall after harvest time (thanks for the harvest type of thing) ceremonies in the spring (thanks for the spring and the new growth in nature that comes with it)
Wiccan's are simply very in tune with nature and the natural processes and cycles of the planet and nature..
Well that's about all I know please excuse the termonology as it's probably all wrong but the general idea is there..

It is an earth based religion that believes in giving back to the Earth and thanking the Gods and Goddesses. It is a very peaceful religion whose motto is "with harm to none".
