Victor: I have 3 American children since I`m American. I think there should be a law that if illegals made the kids, they should help raise them-but then again what the hell do they care and not take them with? If they can throw $1,500.00 together for a coyote, then they can help pay for their kid[s]. Then again I should know better,we will be stuck with the tab in taxes. There`s ALOT of anchors running around and hope Elvira set an example by having her kid sent home with her.

They probably didn't pay it while they were here...why would they pay it after getting shipped home?

There is not way to force them legally to pay for their children if they are not in the same country...and even if there were, they were ILLEGAL ALIENS, so they obviously have no regard for laws, anyway.

Those kids were SOL the moment they were conceived.

You'd need an international law made up for that sort of thing. Within the country if a parent is ordered to pay child support by the courts and their pay can be automatically docked, denied a passport (due to debt), or have certain privileges taken away (depending on the country in question).

It really does depend on the illegal in question whether or not they want to pay. They can't be forced to as they are out of the country and that countries' law won't apply to them.

If you want to refer to USA, Mexico, Canada regions and specifically Elvira's case, I'd say that President Calderon wouldn't be willing to sign such a treaty on the basis that it would be bad for Mexico's ecconomy not to mention against his beliefs regarding illegal immigration.

They can't support the children they left behind in their own countries, so what would make you think they would support any they leave behind here? I highly doubt that the majority of them bother with even trying to pay child support to any of their children. They know the government will pick up the tab and their kids won't starve here.

No. They don't even pay for the ride back to the third world toilet bowl that they came from. We give their children freedom and they burn our flag.

there would be no way to enforce payment. there are problems with collecting monies from owing parents who live in the U.S.
