If you don't believe in the Bible, why not study the teachings of Jesus. You don't have to be Christian or even religious to follow the teachings of Jesus. He taught us how we should live our lives. He taught us to respect our parents. To turn the other cheek. To hate the sin not the sinner. To love thy neighbor as thyself. My favorite teaching is to do unto others as you want done unto yourself. There is absolutely nothing wrong with learning His teachings even if you don't believe in God. So, in answer to your question there is a bit of truth in the Bible. If you are interested, you should read the New Testament. The Sermon on the Mount, which can be found in the Book of Matthew, is very good. We should all live our lives according to Jesus' teachings. You don't have to be Christian to respect that.

Every Arabic Qur'an is exactly like every other, in every single letter, whether it was handwritten in Cairo 1350 years ago or laser-printed yesterday in Los Angeles. We Muslims have the original scripture in the original language to refer to, and also a large body of contemporary accounts, also of carefully recorded provenance, explaining when and under what circumstances each verse was revealed.

Muslims revere the Bible because it surely does include some true revelation. I have seen Bibles on the floor, in the bathroom, used as doorstops and coasters, etc., in Christian homes. I have seen Bibles in hotel rooms with annotated with phone numbers of prostitutes. No Muslim would ever mistreat the Bible because we know that at least part of it is of Divine origin.

Regarding a comparable danger posed by false prophets in the first century, the apostle John warned: “Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired expression, but test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God, because many false prophets have gone forth into the world.” (1 John 4:1) So we need to be careful.
The Quran was put together in order to Challenge the Author of the Bible, the One and Only True God. Stories like Jesus making Clay Birds come to Life, Mohommad flying on his Horse into Heaven are some Ridiculous stories found in the Quran. L,m sorry but we were Warned of Nonsense like this....!!

No book of myths, legends and fairy tales can predict the future but the detailed prophecies recorded in the Bible came true in such an exact way that they could not have been predicted by mere chance.

Further, archaeologists have verified that these prophecies were written down many years before they were fulfilled, proving that the documents claiming to be prophecies were not written after the event.

We also have Eye-witness accounts of miraculous events, by people that had nothing to gain but everything to lose by speaking out about what they had seen.

The death and resurrection of Jesus and his post-resurrection physical appearance to over 500 people over a 40 continuous day period.

We have better historical documentation for Jesus than for the founder of any other ancient religion…One expert documented thirty-nine ancient sources (outside of the Bible) that corroborate more than one hundred facts concerning Jesus’ life, teachings, crucifixion and resurrection.

The New Testament was written during the first century of Christianity which was during the lifetimes of eyewitnesses. The standard scholarly dating, even in very liberal circles, is still within the lifetimes of various eyewitnesses of the life of Jesus, and within the lifetimes of hostile eyewitnesses who would have served as a corrective if false teachings about Jesus were going around. Since Christians were strongly persecuted by both the Jews and the Roman government. If the New Testament writings were false, these two hostile groups would have produced a great deal of evidence to stop the growth of this “sect.”

None exists.

Further, the New Testament letters and writings (before they were assembled into the “book” we call the New Testament) circulated during the lifetimes of thousands of people who had actually seen Jesus’ miracles and other historic events. No one ever refuted the New Testament writings as “fairy tales.”

The New Testament writers insisted with conviction that their writings were not mythical, but were indeed based on factual events.
(They suffered torture and death rather than recant one single word of their testimony) Furthermore, they specifically documented many of the eye-witnesses who could testify to the accuracy of their statements. If the gospels were not true, all someone would have to do was to say, “Hey, wait a minute! I was there and it didn’t happen that way!” The Jewish and Roman authorities would have publicised such negative testimony all over the Holy Land and right through the Roman Empire and yet they never found anyone whose version of the events contradicted the testimony of the New Testament writers .

The claim that the Bible is filled with myths can be made, but it cannot be reasonably maintained. The evidence is overwhelming that the Bible writers understood and insisted that their information was accurate and factual. Their claim of factual accuracy has been verified by the discipline of archaeology as well as by refutations of alleged contradictions between the various writings and history. The Bible is not a book of myth that belongs beside the likes of Mary Poppins or Peter Pan.

The Heroes in the Bible are presented realistically, with all their faults and shortcomings. When presenting themselves, most people tend to tell about their positive traits, eliminating negative traits, such as drunkenness, adultery, and murder. The inclusion of the good and the bad of God's leaders indicate that the biblical accounts are not just fabricated stories. If it was just a made up religion they would have taken great care not to offend or upset anybody or tell anyone their lifestyle was wrong, on the contrary they would have made it say what people want to hear so that it would catch on and be popular. It makes no sense to make up something people will find offensive and want to reject - unless it were true!

Not a single, legitimate contradiction has been found that would suggest that the biblical writers falsified information. For years, sceptics have found alleged contradictions between the biblical texts. These alleged “contradictions” have been proven to be false, and adequate answers proving the noncontradictory nature of the Bible texts have been given time and time again.

Unlike myths and fairy tales, the Bible has been proven to be the most accurate, historically verifiable book that has ever been produced. Years of archaeological finds have unearthed enough evidence verifying the Bible’s accuracy to bury the claim of myth a thousand times over.

It is a book of inspired, factual, historically accurate information that deserves its rightful place in the annals of history as the most amazing book ever written—bar none.

The Torah, Bible and Qur'an are all based on earlier myths, but certain common elements in those myths suggest that Earth may have been visited in the distant past by an advanced, extraterrestrial race. This visitation formed the basis of religion as we continue to know it today. Did "gods" from the sky come to teach us . . . or enslave us? Why did they leave? Are they still keeping tabs on us? Any other fans of "Stargate SG-1" out there?

I would like to share some scholar's vews in this regard.

"... But the Meccans still demanded of him [Muhammad] a miracle, and with remarkable boldness and self-confidence Mohammad appealed as the supreme confirmation of his mission to the Koran itself. Like all Arabs they were connoisseurs of language and rhetoric. Well then, IF KORAN WERE HIS OWN COMPOSITION OTHER MEN COULD RIVAL IT. If they could not [ and it is obvious that they could not ], then let them accept the Koran as an outstanding evidencial miracle."--[Mohammadanism, An Historical Survey, by HAMILTON A.R.GIBB, pg-40]

"....All these scriptures were written revelations, and all alike are to be believed and accepted, since they all cofirm one another and the Koran in particular not only confirms earlier scriptures but as final revelation, clears up all uncertainities and is the repository of perfect truth."--[Ibid, pg-53]

" If therefore, the religion which Mahomet taught be so impure, gross and absurd, and the mean whereby he established it so wicked and unjust as the Christians endeavour to represent them, the Authority both of miracles and prophesies must fall to the ground, for no man can believe that God will work a miracle to justify a false religion, or mention the author of such a one without a mark of infamy."--[Ibid, pg-164]

" I believe that he really did receive something directly from God. As such, I believe that the Qur’an came from God, that it is Divinely inspired. Muhammad could not have caused the great upsurge in religion that he did without God’s blessing." [“The whole house of Islam, and we Christians with them...” An interview with “the Last Orientalist” - the Rev Prof William Montgomery Watt by Bashir Maan & Alastair McIntosh]

The Magna Carta and English common law were also influenced by the Quranic code. Pope Sylvester II graduated from a Spanish university with a degree in Islamic Law. He went on to translate Islamic legal texts into Latin and called it the "New Roman Law." This code became the basis for the French legal system as well as that of Louisiana

Some precepts of law familiar to us today were also inspired by the Quranic code. Its influence on the international law is characterized by strict limitations on warfare, prohibition of harming of civilians or destruction of trees and crops, and adherence to treaties.

" The laws of koran revolutionised social relations. Increased
production, the result of this revolution quickened trade which
ushered in an era of cosmopolitanism and spiritual uplift."

About Bible it is believed that it has been corrupted, deleted, added and sometimes concealed..........

" We do not know of any book in the whole world less authenticated as to date, authers' names or tradition than our own christian Bible "--[ Isis Unveiled by Blavatsky, vol. II, p-277 ]

I do not know about the koran but when our church follows the word of God things happen just like it states in the bible.

DO THE WILL OF GOD
You need to find a home church, be obedient, follow his word, be baptized with the holy spirit, show your self approved and do the will of God (Mark 16: 15 - 18)

Who knows, no one is around today that was when they were written. Plus things that are written, no one has any proof. Could have been made up. But the Bible, Koran? Other then the places, it was all made up.

both contain cultural references and historic places and events that are not fabricated, and both contain a lot that can't be proven. none of the key spiritual elements of either book are supported by physical evidence, and in some cases, the lack of physical evidence is damning.
