So I woke up with a sore throat a couple of days ago which I thought was just from stress. Last night I started coughing and had a runny nose...I slept horribly because of the coughing. Today I've been blowing my nose constantly and absolutely cannot stop coughing...it feels like it is in my chest. I took robitussin dm and it hasn't helped at all. I don't think I have a fever though. Is there anything else I can/should do? I have class and lab tomorrow. :( Thanks!!!

] drink, drink, drink water, juice, tea or coffee - drink enough that you have to pee every three hours or so, to thin out the mucus and flush out some of the crud. Not too much caffeine, though.
] take a decongestant/antihistamine. Ask the pharmacist which one to take if you are on other medication than vitamins
] drink/eat hot/spicy - soups, teas, salsa, hot and sour soup - if it makes your nose run, it's getting rid of some crud.
] take a steamy shower or bath before bed - will loosen up your breathing pipes!
] bring tissues and hand sanitizer to class with you - sneeze/cough in your elbow, and sanitize hands after blowing nose
] take vitamins!
