Alhamdulilah! I am so happy for you! I am a born muslim and people irritate me about what they believe about Islam! Islam is a religion of peace and is somewhat similar to Christianity. Islam doesn't preach terrorism and the people who do horrible things like that are acting on their own. Hopefully one day people will learn that Islam is a religion of peace and that one persons action does not justify an entire groups way of thinking. I am also glad that Islam is growing so fast! Anyway, Ramadan Kareem and best wishes.

Peace among people can only be the result of Reason, not Faith. Faith in your God can provide you personally with a FEELING of comfort, which you call peace, as long as you don't disagree with anything your God tells you to do.
Have you considered the path of Reason? It gives you inner peace and helps you iron out differences among all kinds of people by choosing non-violence. You know, the history of the world has not suffered because people have been too reasonable. It has suffered because people have been too FAITH-ful to their delusional fantasies. Faith is dripping with blood and it takes Reason to heal the wounds. 20,000 women converting to religion (Islam or other) is simply another way of pouring salt on the open wounds of mankind.
Think about it. If you are not drugged, you can't be at peace with that thought and remain religious.

Bless your heart, your intentions seem sincere. Take a hint, though - don't come on here quoting rewritten Biblical scripture unless you're prepared to have the original version thrown back at you. Good luck.

Nothing wrong with Islam. It's the Islamic Radicals that we are concerned about. I sort of doubt it if 20,000 women convert to Islam each year. You may be talking about women of Middle Eastern or Islamic country descent who have to choice in the first place.

Why would people need an OTHER god?
bible reference...Deuteronomy chapter 13. Basically, an OTHER god is one that you personally have not known or one unknown to your fathers.
One of the reason the hebrews and even the teachings of 'jesus' were against conversion. Basically, when you convert or are converting other people is that YOUR god isn't everywhere.
Isn't god supposed to be EVERYWHERE?!? OR is that something that the monotheistic sects just SAY. Can't a person just look out their window and SEE the SPIRIT?!? Why do ya need to use arabic terms from a person that lived 1300yrs ago? Is your god dead?
Secondly, many people have a negative opinion concerning islam cuz the only examples of it that they have come from the news. Complaining about the opinion will not change it, if ya really want to change it, DO SOMETHING to give people something else to look at, so they have OTHER examples.

Sweety you will never clear all the misunderstandings, but you may reach a few open minded searchers out there. Extremists come in all forms and from most all faiths, not just Islam, look at the crusades, the inquisition, all Christian initiated violence, but people don't want to see that there is really potential for good in every belief system out there if it's followed correctly, and not taken literally from a book of stories meant to be used as lessons not absolute truths. There is really only one great Power out there, call it what you wish, but the true basic tenets of all the major and many of the minor belief systems are really the same at the core. It all comes down to the golden rule.
Peace and blessings to you.

BismillÄhir-RaúmÄnir-Raúeem
JUDGE “ ISLAM “ BY ITSELF (QURAN & SUNNAH) AND NOT BY ITS FOLLOWERS.
IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT THE PPL DO WHAT DOES MATTER IS THAT WHAT ISLAM SAYS, SIMPLE IS THAT.
IN QURAN IF U KILL AN INNOCENT PERSON (not particular 2 Muslims) MEANS U KILL THE WHOLE HUMANITY.
**ISLAM IS PEACE**
"On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our apostles with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land. (The Noble Quran, 5:32)"
ISLAM IS MORE THAN “1400” YEARS OLD RELIGION WHY EXTREMISM IS ASSOCIATED WITH ISLAM NOW & NOT BEFORE? BCOZ ISSUES LIKE PALESTINE, KASHMIR & CHECHNIA.These all acts are acts of disparity, feeling of deprivation and continuous injustice.
Does Islam really allow the killing of innocent unbelievers? VISIT THIS LINK TO KNOW YOURSELF http://www.answering-christianity.com/no_murder.htm

Surah 9 “Al-Tawbah” (repentance), the most famous verse on Jihad

For those who 9:5 in the Quran to claim that Islam is a violent religion.... did you try to read 9:6?
The context of the verse is during battlefield, In order to understand the context, we need to read from verse 1 of this surah. It says that there was a peace treaty between the Muslims and the Mushriqs (pagans) of Makkah. This treaty was violated by the Mushriqs of Makkah. A period of four months was given to the Mushriqs of Makkah to make amends. Otherwise war would be declared against them.
Surah Taubah chapter 9 verse 6 gives the answer to the allegation that Islam promotes violence, brutality and bloodshed. It says:
"If one amongst the Pagans ask thee for asylum, grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of Allah; and then escort him to where he can be secure that is because they are men without knowledge."
[Al-Qur'an 9:6]
So please don't just quote it without knowing the verse before it or the verse after it, without knowing its interpretation and what it refers to
Thanks
