The reason why Chuck isn't fighting Shogun is because Dana doesn't want him to die yet. Shogun vs. Griffin should be the main event at 76, but Chuck is the only one getting hype. Don't pay attention to Liddell vs. Jardine. The main event is weak but there are two other GREAT fights. Rua vs. Griffin and Diego vs. Fitch should make up for the main event.
This is a great month to be an MMA fan. I really wish TUF would change though. Watching these "up and comers" get drunk and break **** isn't fun anymore. Way to represent the sport yea? Good lookin Fight Night, even though I really wish Spencer Fisher could have fought Dinyero. I was all pumped for that. Swick's out with an injury too. Oh well. At least I get to see Leben get dropped and shipped home.
Not to mention Lawler vs. Ninja should be fun to watch, Shields vs. Charuto, and Nick Diaz gets to prove what he's worth. I just hope Villasenor gets his clock cleaned again. KOTC tried to hype this guy as the P4P best... PBBBBT!
4 days to UFC 75!!!

The UFC has gotten quite exciting over the past couple of months. Many top names have been signed. Fight cards are starting to become stacked with great fights, and even the under card bouts are great fights.
We have a good fight card coming up, and the fight is free on top of that. I know I'd rather watch a commercial or 2 then listen to the pre-fight interviews and hype 50 times during the event. How many times do I have to hear Rampage say "I'm gonna whoop Chuck's ***" during an event? Seriously, I almost welcome the commercials.
Plus, this next card has Bisping/Hamel, Mirko/Congo, and one of the best match-ups ever in the octagon, Jackson/Henderson. Even some of the under card fights like Tomasz Drwal Vs. Thiago Silva are going to be exciting.
However, the next pay-per-view is going to be crap. I have to cover the fights for my show, and I doubt even I will be spending the money for the PPV. Liddell/Jardine? Are you serious? And as a main event? WEAK! The rest of the fight card looks really good though. We get to see Shogun. which is always an honor. Tavares/Griffon is going to be an awesome bout. And Fitch/Sanchez is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Only problem is, this fight is missing a main event draw.
Outside the octagon, there has been some amazing stuff going on. Babalu being fired, steroid scandals, Fedor will he/won't he, Brock Lesnor, etc etc. Some very exciting things to talk about. Not to mention the countless upsets that we have been seeing this year.
So, if Liddell/Jardine would have been Liddell/Wandy, then yes, this would have probably been the best month the UFC has seen in a long time, if not ever. But that 1 main event fight ruins it all. I'm a bit confused on why Liddell wasn't given Shogun and let Griffon fight Jardine.

I am sooooo hyped for the fights we got coming up. Rampage vs. Hendo is gonna be sick! I thinking Rampage takes it, though it could really go either way once the leather stars to fly. Rampage is gonna be to strong and explosive for Dan.
I wanna see Leben catch a bad one and Martin has really heavy hands so I got my fingers crossed that he'll put Leabens lights out. I can't wait to see John Fitch fight again. This guy is Very impressive and I would love to see Diego drop two in a row.
If there are still people that don't know who Shogun is. They better keep both eyes on the screen cause he's the Best 205er on the planet IMO. And Forest Always make it fun so it should be great. Vera should beat down Big Tim and that's always fun to see. I could go on and on!
MMA = Best thing ever!
WAR SHOGUN!

This has been a tough year to swallow - the upsets have been unbelieveable. Seriously!!! Most of them are exciting but stuff like Matt Serra beating St. Pierre makes me think the UFC is getting more and more like the WWF or fights are just fixed in general. Have you ever tried to go to a fight? It is almost impossible!! The worst seats are $75 and you are better off watching it on TV than sitting that far away.
Regardless, I can't resist the sport. Wanderlei Silva just signed on with the UFC a couple of weeks ago. Now we have him, Rampage, Liddell, Henderson, etc all in the same division. That is insane. I can't wait for Matt Hughes to get his belt back. Sherk can't be beat. He is a boring fighter but he is a machine! Anderson Silva is the most exciting to watch because he is so accurate and versatile. Then you have good old Randy. I have counted him out time after time after time... no more!!! He is phenominal - I can't wait for Brandon Vera to mash Tim Sylvia then get matched up against Couture... this month is the kickoff for the new Ultimate Fighter TV season so I am stoked just like you!!

I love this sport! This month is great. There are some really good cards coming up. I was looking foward to seeing Swick at welterweight but a rib injury forced him out. The new Ultimate fighter looks like it could be one of the best yet. All in all a great month foe UFC Fans...

well for the guy who said going to the event isnt crap b/c he doesnt have the best seats obvioulsy isnt a true MMA fan, b/c its the atmosphere that makes going to an event great. of course your not gonna have the ringside seats unless ur an A lister, but come on its about actually being there and feeling the crowd, and you can watch it on a huge tv screen while u are there if your seats are that bad. and anyone who would compare the UFC to almost turining into a rigged WWE is sure the hell now a real fan.anyways yes great month for ufc i cant wait till this saturday.
