What are some good but believable excuses?

Call in sick! Just say you went to a BBQ for Labor Day and ate some bad mayonnaise or something.

Do you realize most employers have a policy that if you do not show up to work on your scheduled day before or first scheduled day after a paid holiday you forfite your holiday pay? There are 1000 good excuses (I'm sick, my car won't start, my dog died, I broke my pinkie toe, ect, ect, ect) but you might want to be sure you are not forfieting my any holiday pay just because you don't feel like going to work.

No one wants to go to work tomorrow. ( well at least most people) So get over it and face life as we know it. Try to learn how to spice up your work week or maybe change your career.
