I think I would rather live in New York. I'm from New York for one thing so it's home to me, I like the four seasons, I like the urban atomosphere I get from living in New York City. I just don't think I would get along with living in Florida.

Florida. I live in Jersey but not far from NYC. I worked in the city for three years plus (during 9/11 and the blackout) and I don't want to go back. It's not that being in the city is bad. I do enjoy actually being in there. It was just the commute that got to me and walking to the office from the PATH station. Don't even get me started about winter weather. I hate anything below 75 degrees. So...hopefully this Thanksgiving, I'm outta here, headed to warmer climes. If I never see snow again, I really wouldn't care.

i am also from upstate ny and have lived in fl for around 10 years. i would rather live in fl, and its why i stayed here after graduating college. i miss fall, but thats it. you can have all the other seasons in ny. you could never predict what the weather was gonna be like, you didnt see much sun, and the winters were so long and so dreary. i hate the cold up north, and i hate driving in snow, or dealing with it (shoveling, cleaning off your car, etc). in fl at least i know its pretty much gonna be hot every day, cept for some cooler days we get in our winter. and i know ill see the sun practically every day. not having the sunshine really affects my mood, ny is much too much dreary for me.

Upstate...maybe...other than that like the country song says..."Send me to Hell or New York City (and in this case ANYWHERE in Florida) it's all about the same to me..."
