Why do people keep putting Jesus as the most important thing? To put the son above the father is a violation of the commandment isn't it?????

"Jesus is god in the flesh"??? I thought the voice said "this is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased". He make a habit of talking to himself? He even prayed to himself apparently, and said "not my will, but thy will be done". Thats called schizophrenia!

According to the Jews... you are correct...

However, the Christians get around this by saying Jesus is just another form of God. They redefined the term.

Kind of like how Bill Clinton got out of perjuring himself by redefining "sex."

Yes, to the first question.

To the second question ~ As a Christian I believe by faith that God has three components described as the Trinity or the Triune Godhead. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is God incarnate who lived as a man and died for the salvation of the sins of humanity and the 'fallen' world. He then resurrected and went back to God the Father.

His death was the last Passover....the last blood sacrifice. He fulfilled the Old Testament 'Law'. He came first to the Jews. Most Jews rejected him as Messiah. But some Jews and Samaritans accepted him and became followers.

The Holy Spirit is what is invested in you when you are baptised (infant or adult baptism). We all have free will and choice. God's Holy Spirit helps to guide and protect us(in any spiritual attack).

I didn't explain it as best I could. If you look up some Christian apologetics-- I'd suggest the Orthodox Church, the Roman Catholic Church and any mainline Protestant church (ex. Presbytarian, Episcopal, Methodist, Lutheran)....there are better worded explainations to your questions. :-)

Addressing the resurrected Jesus, the apostle Thomas exclaimed: “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:28) This and other accounts were “written down that [we] may believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God.” And Thomas was not contradicting Jesus, who had sent His disciples the message: “I am ascending to . . . my God and your God.” (John 20:17, 30, 31) So Thomas did not think that Jesus was Almighty God. Or by saying “my God,” Thomas may have been acknowledging Jesus as God’s Spokesman and Representative, even as others addressed an angelic messenger as though he were Jehovah.—are Genesis 18:1-5, 22-33; 31:11-13; 32:24-30; Judges 2:1-5; 6:11-15; 13:20-22.

The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit are all one, they're the three faces of a single God like the Mother Maiden and Crone are the three faces of the Goddess.

Assuming that it is a serious question....
The Holy Trinity consists of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost. Three in one and one in three. What most Christians mean when they talk about Jesus, is God. I know, it's tough dogma to understand and I can see why some people may be wandering whether there are three Gods, or one. If you are sincerely interested, ask a theologian to go through a full explanation.

No, actually, it's Scriptual. In both the Old and the New Testament, in fact.

If you look at the very first three words of the Bible, in its original language

Bereshit (In the Beginning)
bara (created)
Elohim (GD)

you find that the verb "bara" is in the singular form. If it were pluralized, it would be "barat" but the noun "Elohim" is pluralized. Eloheynu is singular. So, from the very beginning, it is recognized that GD is a unity.

Look at Genesis 1:26, YHWH says "Let US make man in OUR image, in OUR likeness." Again, a plurality of One...a Unity.

There were numerous intercessors in the Old Testament:
1) Avram in Genesis 15 was renamed Abraham, given land, made the father of the
Hebraic faith, because, in Genesis 14, he had tithed to Melchizedek, a priest who had been made King...an anointed one.

2-Moses interceded when he went up Mt. Sinai. In fact, if anyone so much as touched the Mountain, it says in Exodus 19:32, they would perish.

Isaiah 53 speaks of He who would be without sin, and would bear the sins of others and be chastised by them, and, in the final verse of that chapter, Isaiah 53:12 it says "
12
Therefore will I divide him a portion among the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the mighty; because he bared his soul unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and MADE INTERCESSION for the transgressors."

To make intercession is to be the "middle man," so that, in the original covenant, the book of the Law, Prophets and Writings that Jesus/Yeshua said He would fulfill, it says "The one who bore the sins of others would be the intercessor....which means the same as "The way to the Father is THROUGH the SON."

What makes us say Jesus is the son, besides the New testament?
Ezekiel 34 speaks of how upset GD was that those He put in charge of being hte intercessors, the ones responsible for offering the sacrifices and gifts for the people to be forgiven their sins, had not done their job. They got wealthy, but they had their own fallibilities.

In Ezekiel 34, GD says He would come personally to correct the situation, to lead the "lost sheep" back, to heal the sick, to bind the injured. He would create a New covenant that would make each person accountable for him or herself, not because they belonged to the people of Israel, but because they were fat or lean sheep...

and, it says " Ezekiel 34:24
And I HaShem will be their G-d, and My servant David prince among them; I HaShem have spoken."
So, the servant who came from the lineage of the House of David would be "prince," and as we know a Prince is son of the king...

so the servant who was described in Isaiah 53, who would bear the sins of others though he were without sin, and would make intercession for those who did sin, would come from the House of David and be Son of the King of the Universe.

Jesus never said He was greater than GD, in fact He says just the opposite---that the Father is greater. But, YHWH/GD is a Unity, as He was Outside us, then walked as a man BESIDE us, so that the Holy Spirit, the Ruach HaKodesh, which also is both in the Old and the New Testament, could dwell INSIDE us...

It is as H20 is--whether a solid (ice), a liquid (river, drinking water) or a gas (steam, fog) it is still water....different forms of the very same thing...as is GD, Yeshua and the Holy Spirit---which is why the Holy Spirit could not come until the Resurrection.

You may not give me the 10 points, but Yeshua knows it is the Truth, He is the Truth, and those are the only points I truly need to make.

Jesus is God in the flesh. No one gets to the Father except through Jesus. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

God is a Trinity: one God, three persons. God the Father, God the Son (that's Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit.

Because Jesus is God, worshiping Him is obeying the commandment, not breaking it.

For more explanation on the Trinity, check out the question links under that heading on this page:
