I took Pseudo earlier, about 12:30, would it be ok to take the other right now?

Sure. They are fairly interchangeable - same mechanism of action as a decongestant. You can take one or the other at three hour intervals unless they are one of the slow release preparations. Read the bottle. RC MD

I totally disagree! Pseudoephedrine will raise your blood pressure and your heart rate. Phenyephrine is also an alpha constrictor and will raise your heart rate and blood pressure as well. I DEFINATELY would avoid taking them together if at all possible. But thats just my opinion. There are other cold and allergy pills out there that don't contain those medicines. Please be careful with it. Take your heart rate at times to make sure you aren't racing.
