Korea and Vietnam were possessions of Allied nations at the start of the war, but were occupied by Japan. While under occupation there were resistance groups that fought against Japanese forces with the assistance of British and American troops once they broke through. Iran and Iraq were British possessions as was South Africa, but only South Africa helped send some sort of military support. British troops were in the middle east to protect the oil fields from Rommel and his Afrika Corps

As you can see from your question, we are, in a sense, still fighting World War II--lots of unresolved problems, proving that wars create as many problems as they solve. We are still fighting over Korea and Iraq and Iran, and of course there was our Vietnam and the Korean war, in which victory eluded us both times at great cost.

in WW2 Iraq fight alongside the Axis power coz at that time their country is colonised by Britain.however korea, vietnam and south africa fought alongside the Allied powers coz Korea and vietnam was conquered by Japan and for S.Africa many of its pilots got involved in Battle of Britain (one of them is Sailor Malan who ended up shooting down one of Luftwaffe's ace Werner Molders) so of course they were on the Allied side.
