I work at Kmart. There's a man that works there who sometimes works up front with the customers. He has a swastika tattooed on his bisep and the managers allow him to wear a short sleeve shirt. And I noticed he's only friendly to white customers with blonde hair and blue eyes. Don't you think the managers should make him wear a longer sleeved shirt to cover his tattoo, or at least put him in the back where he can't be rude to any customers?

Don't worry about the customers, they can complain for themselves.

The question is, does it make YOU uncomfortable? You have every right to go to management, and tell them that the tattoo creates a "hostile work environment," and you would like them to take appropriate action.

If they think that 'no action' is appropriate, take it to upper management, or the regional director.

It is really between him and the management. As long as he follows the rules and does his job and isn't rude to the customers who don't have blonde hair and blue eyes he really isn't doing anything wrong.

That particular tatoo should be covered if he wants to work with the public. Personally locking him in the holocaust museum for a day or two would probly adjust his attitude.

Yes, I'd think so. He's making a statement with his tattoo, and it's totally unacceptable.
