She means that she really likes you as a person, not just because her child is your spouse.

She likes you as a person.

I would think that would be a good thing, and great for having a good relationship with your mother in law.

What your mother in law is stipulating is that she appreciate you the way you appreciate yourself. She is giving you a high compliment...'I don't just like you' Meaning she has other reason to like you...'I like you like you'...Meaning she like you as well as you like yourself...God bless
