My school lunch (provided by the school) isnt great and is EXTREMELY unhealthy and fatty. I want something thats yummy and fulfill my appetite because I usually sit with my friends in recess and talk and eat b4 lunchtime :)
THANKS!

Just about any fresh fruit in season would be good. One thing I would suggest is if you're going to use apples and bananas, that you soak them first in lemon juice so they don't turn dark and yucky. Otherwise, try to combine sweet fruits with those that are tart. For example, bananas with grapefruit sections or strawberries. Prepare the fruits in individual containers, and combine them at the last minute so they don't get mushy or transfer colors. Some people like a creamy dressing like Cool Whip, but I like mine just plain. Green or red grapes are good in a fruit salad, and keep their texture and appearance well when mixed with other fruits. Fresh pineapple or melons are also good additions.

It's hard to say without knowing what kind of carrier you have. The safest would be a jello salad, but they're not filling. A can of fruit and some cottage cheese if you can keep the cottage cheese cold enough. The safest bet might be to take some apples and cheese slices, some nuts and some crackers. It scares me to think of food stuck in a locker for hours. I tried to supplement my lunch with something from the cafeteria, not even easy for a teacher.

Mix grapes, banana's, strawberry, apples, mandarine oranges and whatever else you like in a bowl. Toss it with a little bit of honey and a sprinkle of lemon juice ( lemons keep fruit fresh and dont let them turn brown) Honey is a natural sugar and not so bad for you. Make sure it is in some sort of bowl that wont be easy to squish.

when i have made fruit salads in the past, i slice bananas, cut apples into cubes, add grapes, canned chunk pineapple, and canned mandarin orange slices. use lemon juice to keep apples and bananas from browning. for the sauce to go over top, 1 small container of vanilla flavored yogurt, some lemon juice and orange juice, and honey to sweeten. stir with wire whisk or shake in a mason jar.

u can make any sort of fruit salad, just squeeze lemon on top of it so the fruit does not turn brown by lunch. i would also pack it in a cooling lunch box because lunch is far away from when you pack the lunch!
