Are you saying that every non believer that's had a near death experience, has changed there ways? Do you have documented proof of this? I think your full of it...

First, you said you have a "few questions", yet you ask only one.
Second, why did you make atheists possessive by adding the apostrophe "s"? What, in your question, do I take ownership of?
Third, you actually have a record of all the near death experiences of all the non believers? That may be the most incredible feat in the history of man. If you do not have said record, your question is false. If you do have the record, your question is irrelevant to the existence of your god. It is simply evidence of people becoming believers when they have near-death experiences, nothing more, nothing less. I, for one, do not deny the existence of people becoming believers after such experiences. I have never met a person like that (I know they exist in the realms of television, movies, etc), but I am quite certain that they exist in reality

hi to you, too. Like your avatar/reveal call. ok, i'm sixty seven, my dad became into catholic so went to mass usually yet no longer plenty previous that. Then went to a catholic college and hit each and every of the theology instructions and that i circulate "you mean i'm meant to have faith those issues?". Ended up Pentecostal for a on a similar time as, then fantastically plenty out of religion for a protracted time. stumbled on buddhism in penitentiary my 2nd time and finally have been given what Jesus became into speaking approximately. Bounced through a pair extra protestant religions and finally ended up in my present day church. they are my kinfolk now and that they settle for that i do no longer do dogma and that i'm accepted as a results of fact the Resident Heretic, they are happy with that. Studied the history of the early church (large place previously the literalists messed it up) and the history of the bible. in case you already know how that became into written, you would be shocked. the two the OT and NT have been liberally plagiarized from previously and/or modern-day pagan myths and practices. there is almost no longer something unique in "christianity". additionally stumbled on that my relationship with the usually happening wisdom did no longer require any form of supernatural being, so i'm atheist-agnostic. i could settle for the existence of (a) god if I observed any empirical and repeatable information of their existence. so far I even have not. (Sorry for the long answer, in spite of the fact that that is been a protracted adventure to realize this element, too.) My suggestion to you is to question each and everything. i'm a history nut, in spite of the fact that that is common to google a large style of stuff like the "apocryphal" gospels - there is a few 80 + of those - or gnosticism. attempt Osiris-Dionysus-Mithra for the tale of the Jesus mythology. It gets very thrilling.

I am an atheist and this is not the case. What you are describing are simply lapsed christians who have guilt over their lifestyles and their only way to win approval from their usually bad behaviour is to repent.

I have never met an atheist who has had this happen, by that I mean someone who is truly an atheist (not just a lapsed xian), it would not make any sense and would not happen. Just as it would not make sense that a committed xian was going to die and repented to allah.

So stop making crazy false claims, that makes the rest of the world think you are the poster boy/girl for ignorant xian american.

First, by 'all the non believers' to whom are you referring?

You can't just throw out phrases like that without proof.

Also, you're saying the 'near-death' experience actually brought them to hell?? or were they dead for a while?

Lastly: I have, personally witnessed, in front of me 10 people who had their heart stopped for several seconds to several minutes and then were resuscitated. I asked 4 of them if they knew what had happened to them. They all said "No".

All 4 said they don't remember a thing. NOTHING. No Heaven... No Hell. The other 6 never made it.

I've witnessed countless numbers of 'death and dying' but I'm referring to these 4 where I specifically went out of my way to ask cause I was curious.

Because humans can be like sheep. There were many more Nazis than Jews-- does that make the Nazis right just because there were more? No.

Something that has nothing to do with the Christian Bible helps me out in my life, and I'm happy with it. Conversions won't work.

Oh, and you said "all the nonbelievers" so I'd like to know where you got that info. I've never seen those stats, can you prove it?

Shelly, making up unverifiable statements to suit your position is extremely dishonest of you, and is yet another example of the dishonesty and hypocrisy that makes more informed people despise religion, particularly christianity.

You are asserting that no one has ever had a near death experience without becoming religious. Have you personally interviewed "everyone" who has had a near death experience..?
You didn't talk to me or any of the people I know who have remained scientifically literate after such an experience, and didn't suddenly turn to a magic sky fairy..

Religious hypocrisy, lies and denial aren't for everybody Shelly..

That's it then, no eternal life after death for you..!

Shelly, many atheists have had "near-death-experiences" and did not have that happen, it's just that Christians don't talk about that....

my spouse is my source... had bypass surgery five years ago and "died" on the table... I was petrified when they called to say there was a problem, as I have already lost a spouse... we are both still atheists.

Christians tend to relay magical stories that reinforce their faith... that doesn't make them true.

People change religions.
Its a fact.
Now I ask you...
If atheists converting to Christianity proves that Christianity is correct, then what about Christians that convert to Wicca, Islam, or Atheism? Does that cancel you out or does Christianity get special rules for that?

Shelly, it isn't much of a challenge, now that the Internet is with us, to research the causes of so-called 'near-death experiences.' Try it, pretty one. It doesn't have beans to do with gods or angels. Nothing, absolutely nothing.
