You are lucky to have watched/read the secret and fully understand how it can help and change your life. I am a true believer in the law of attraction and how the thoughts you dwell on can really affect your life. I find it really hard to convince some loved ones to give it a try... they are totally against it.
But its a blessing to be able to know this. And the more you learn, the more things will pop up out of no where.
I really great website is www.hayhouseradio.com
It's a website that plays radio shows on it continuesly.
You should sign up for membership (its free) and look through the archived hosts and shows.
Look up the Hosts "Esther and Jerry Hicks"
They were a HUGE part in making the Secret, but because of contractual differences, the maker of The Secret couldnt include their parts of the video.
Anyway, the secret i think is a great stepping stone, but if you listen to some of the people on hayhouse, and for sure listen to jerry and esther hicks, then you will be on your way to fully understanding it.

I have heard it many times....I am sure I have used it on occasion, as well. There have certainly been times when I have felt that something had to "give".....although, as often happens, I am struggling to think of examples right now. The best example that springs to mind was just under a year ago....I needed to sort my mind out somewhat....and the "something" that "gave" was my participation in Yahoo! Answers and keeping up with my friends here for about six weeks. I hasten to add that I did feel a lot better after taking a few weeks out.

It's nothing new... and sometimes it's not true. I mean the whole point of life is to learn things from experience- if you read about how you shouldn't touch an electrical fence, that's one thing, but if you reach out and grab the fence it's a bit different.

I mostly don't like the Secret because a lot of people I know who've read it now think they're like gurus or something and are qualified to comment on humanity and how they think the world should be... it's really annoying. Plus I've read plenty of it and I really wasn't impressed.

It's a concept that has been around for a hundred years. It is the concept of attraction. Like attracts like. So, if you want to be successful, associate with successful friends. Want ot be happy? Hang out with happy people! It's that sort of thing.

It's really positive thinking.

There are many books on success that deal with this theory.
I can't believe people are still making money off new books about an old concepts!

The original idea of this makes better reading than "The Secret," which was the Power of Positive Thinking.

I've heard of it and kind of know the gist of it, but have never read the book. In my experience, though, positive thinking works.

It is recycled "Word of Faith" theology.

Your beliefs and thoughts create reality, according to "The Secret."

Reality is all we control is our reaction to it.

Oprah had a show on the book. It's all about self talk and self fulfilled prophecy.
Make a commitment and do it.
