Not really...ever since man sinned ALL of creation has been out of order...at least according to Scripture....
Nature itself rises up and cries out against the rebellion of man.

However, you ARE correct..... most unbelievers blame God for evrything so they don't have to be responsible for their own actions.

There must be a creator who made all animals and plants have sexual organs to reproduce their offspring. There are so many unnatural phenomenas like spirits or premonitions
that happen everyday. Human have been trying to explain gods and spirits since the time they first existed but failed to do so because we just can't explain things that are beyond our controls. Just assume we are billions of viruses in an organ called EARTH, and think that we possess the knowledge of universe ; because the universe we are exploring could be another the part of a body of greater physics or biology that we, as those viruses, think that we are more intelligent and powerful than any alien in our small space ( just like a frog who was born in a bottom of a well thought that the sky was as big as the well's upper view). While God is used by people to control other people, is used by other people to achieve their political interests, I still believe in there is a creator who arranges things neatly such as your body 's human anatomy and physiology versus the way an automobile is built by us the human.
All religions try to teach us to live peacefully and love other people but they all use their God to start a war or punish other human being. I believe in a creator and teach myself how to control my anger, greed, love, hate and living in peace with myself and other human being without the help of those religious fanatics.

A friend of mine recently explained the Judeo-Christian philosophy in a nut shell....
ok, so you pray to a jewish zombie, symbolically eat it's flesh, telepathically tell him that he's 'your master' so that he can swoop down when your asleep, and remove a 'dark presence that's in all mankind' and all because some poor women ate some fruit from a magic tree. Yup, makes sense to me!
Let's face it...we were born of the savage plains, and lacking fangs, and claws, had to get by with whatever we could. Early mankind was a violent, quick experience, and we began our war against nature and anything else thousands of years ago. . We were forced to develop "thought" which quickly developed into arrogance against our fellow inhabitants. "We can build fire, so we can burn!" "look at stupid cat running from our spear!" and that kind of thing. As far as our human actions and deeds, just look at our human endeavors over history. If 'God' is us, 'God' is one angry, vindictive, vicious S.O.B., and I sure wouldn't want to cross paths with him.

So its good to know that all the parasites in the world are going according to god's plan. Must be a bit of a sadist with that wasp larvae that eats its host alive....
And the perfect harmony when a gazelle is torn limb from limb by a pack of Lions.

You're right, I don't know why people say things like that -
instead of becoming closer man goes further away not allowing God to work through him. The lillies neither toil nor spin they are incomplete acceptance .....

So you're saying that asteroids and earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and malaria, all go "according to God's plan" and it's just us humans that mess this up?

How could an omniscient omnipotent god have something go against his plan? If there really was a god then this world would necessarily be exactly as he wanted it to be.

I don't blame God for any of these things.
God didn't create us to have a relationship with Him. Why would he need one if he is all-powerful? If he does, that would be his Achilles' heel.
