a little more info would be helpful. depending on the problem you may be able to contact the attorney generals office in your states consumer protection section. my mom worked for ag in consumer law for years and the get some stuff done.

This is a personal issue. Government agency will not get involved. You signed a contract, you just have to deal with it. If you can prove that you have perfect payment record then you shouldn't need help from anyone. Credit card company also has their own record and they can definitely prove in the court of law.

If you have a dispute with your payment history with your credit company then you need to contact all 3 major credit bureaus: equifax, experian, and trans union. You file a dispute with each agency and your credit card company has 30 days to confirm what they are reporting or correct. If you are still not satisfied you can contact the Federal Trade Commission for further assistance.

I don't think any government agency helps with credit card disputes. You'd have to tell us what the problem is before we could tell you who to call.
