I know that you have read Ephesians 6 talking about putting on the whole armour of God. Have you ever noticed or pondered that there is a piece of armor for every part of your body except the back? I think the Lord did that intentionally to state that, as God's children, we do not have any protection when we stray from God's ways by turning our back on Him, so to speak. If He warns His own children not to expect His protection if we abandon Him, then how can He protect the ungodly who totally reject Him?

Jesus became Christ and he also said see Christ in your brothers. Life in you IS Christ which implies that we are all part of the Christ-hood. Jesus can only serve you if you ask him for service. Otherwise We deny protection for a false sense of self-hood.

Why would Jesus offer any kind of protection or help to those who do not believe in Him, those who spit on His name, who ridicule Him and His followers, those who hate Him and what He stands for, and those who feebly try to argue He never existed?

God loves us all and does not wish for anyone to perish. Because He gave us all free will to choose who we will follow, He is waiting for each individual to choose who they will follow. Choose God and you win. Choose something else and you will reap what you sow.
