I've seen a lot of questions in the genre of "I did ____ and now I have a drug test tomorrow, will it still be in my system?" questions, and many of the answers follow the "dude you're screwed" idea.

From an employability stand point, if someone is sure that they cannot pass a drug test what is the best response for the employee. Take the test and fail, refuse the test/quit the job (seems to be the consequence if you refuse), or . . . ?

Not that I have a real need for the info, but I'm curious. I've always wondered what people did, and what they should have done. All relevant responses are appreciated.

If you refuse to take it, it is admitting you failed and you wouldbe terminated.
You can quit , but then, you would have to explain why you quit a good job.

The best answer is the one you gave, "dude.you're screwed/"

Don't EVER, EVER get yourself in this situation. Please!
