one of my computers already has microsoft office on it. I used the CD I have now to load it on. However, I lost the # (pin or something) for loading microsoft office onto my new computer. Is there anyway I can obtain that number? Maybe off my old computer of something?

I didn't steal it or anything. i bought it brandnew.

Just wondering if anyone could help. The first good answer gets 10 points.

It is always on the cd cover. You should have kept it. You may be able to read the serial number of the software, but only a certain part of it is the install key.

Install Belarc Advisor on the computer with Office. It's a free download that inventories your system including keygens & serial numbers. Then print out the page for your records.

It may be easiest just to get a key retriever of viewer for Microsoft office. People sell them on ebay all the time and they are inexpensive!

ha, easy one. all you would have to do, is load up your computer, go into the program, go to help, then about (program), and it should be right there. but it's a long code for the microsoft office.
