Make sure your 'Drawing' toolbar is turned on by clicking on 'View' then 'Toolbars' and making sure there's a checkmark next to 'Drawing'. Then, on the Drawing toolbar click on where it says 'AutoShapes'. Click 'Basic Shapes' and you'll see the heart under the smiley face. Click on it to insert it into your document.
