We will never be 100% safe from a terrorist attack. Israel has been struggling with this problem for decades. England had some bad years with the IRA.
Our only choice is to decide at what point our efforts to avoid a terrorist attack become more damaging than would an actual terrorist attack. For example, a lot of people die in highway accidents, but most of us are willing to risk driving. Well, some of us--not a large percentage, perhaps less than will die of traffic accidents, but some--may be caught in a terrorist attack. We still need to go on living.

They will attack just to attack. Fluids in sandals, nothing new. X-ray machines pick up liquids. As far as texting and service, that's a mistake the school made and should fix.
You cant give with on hand and take with the other.

You're overreacting. There are lots of things in this world that kill people. Plane crashes, car crashes, trains derailing, trucks carrying hazardous materials jack-knifing on the highway and spilling toxic fumes into the air, stepping off a curb and getting hit by a bus...
Terrorism is just one more thing to add to the list of things that could kill a person.
Take all your regular precautions - daily vitamins, drive defensively, be vigilant... and then lighten up and enjoy life.
Yes, if someone is bent on killing us, they will work at it until they find a weak spot and come after us.
On the bright side, you might die from bird flu before that happens.
Remember: An optimist believes that we live in the best of all possible worlds. A pessimist fears that this is true. (Aldous Huxley) ...

The only way to stop an attack is to be vigilant. If you see something, say something. Americans depending on law enforcement, homeland security and the troops engaged in Operation Noble Eagle to be the only ones involved in guarding against potential attacks by the Salafist Jihadists is categorizing those forces as "room service". They aren't and everyone has a role. If you want a model to study, look to Israel.

did you realize your transporting unnoticeable fluids right now, in your body, without your consent, you may be a terrorist attact just wating to happen, do you know what might happen if you drink a dr pepper and eat those popping candies on a jet plane, every body who has bodily fluids should report this to homeland security for appropriate processing and transfer to gitmo

You are overreacting. You need to learn to identify actions taken in the name of security that are really only showpieces. They implement this plan, everyone gets a warm fuzzy feeling and you are really no less secure than you were before. My mother in law just flew from Chicago to Seattle and when she arrived she realized she had a knife ( for cutting fruit) in her carry on. It's only there to make you feel better.

Terrorism, like all other crimes, cannot be stopped.
Anyone who says differently is lying, ignorant, or both.
