Global warming is real and natural in the climactic cycle of this planet, however its incorrect to assume that this is our fault. Two thirds of all of the carbon dioxide on this planet is released by this planet through volcanoes, geysers, deep sea fissures and other geologic formations found throughout the planet. Additionally there have been articles on the telegraph saying that Mars and other rocky planets have been heating up as well, obviously this is not due to humans, its due to the sun, which has its own cycles of putting out less and more energy at given times. If you look at the climate history of this planet you will see "global warming" before a coming ice age, and its reasonable to assume that the period between the last ice age and the future one is starting to come to an end.

Global Warming is not real simply because it is an urban legend, just like the heliocentric theory, Newtons laws, evolution, a round Earth and pollution. Politicians and these rich scientists expect us to beleive their science just because they spend their lives studying this and can prove it through repetitive experiements and reason. I am no scientist, but there is no way I am going to believe any expert or scientist if i do not agree with him/her. It is rediculous. God gave man dominion over all on Earth (including the Earth itself) and virtually the whole scientific community has the guts to tell us that we are able to impact our environment?! No way. I will trust MY opinion over expert testimony and science any day. I know that when i look in the sky, i see the sun circuling the earth, not the other way around. So if some scientists explain that we have introduced Carbon Dioxide into the atmosphere that had previously been in a locked state, and we have done this on a massive scale (enough to increase CO2 levels by 70ppm over the past 50 years), I know there is no way that its true. I just know. Our energy sources emit nothing. Its obvious. I dont see anything coming out of my tail pipe. And they claim to be learning more about this problem all the time, which is why they say its not "global cooling" but "global warming" or "climate change" but that is just an excuse to try to come up with a more scary sounding name to try to squeeze money out of us. It is like when we used DDT on our agriculture, but some scietist studied it and somehow "proved" all the b.s. cancer risks associated with it and got the stuff banned from use in the U.S. There is no concievable way people can learn more about things as a result of studying them. Everything should be understood exactly how it WAS understood when it was first beggining to be understood. And those stupid scientists all got rich from banning DDT, and all their other "science experiments". They want to do the same with global warming now!

Well the IPCC seems to be having a great time jetting around to some of the finest tourista high dollar cities in the world to hold meetings. Algore consumes enough for any 20 households. They don't appear worried (Except for the TV appearances) Why should I?
I have no doubt that if I kept looking I'd find even more Eco elites who foist off Global warming, the latest scare story, on the great unwashed whilst they live like Nero.

Look guys. Can you possibly contemplate what a delicate balance our planet is in. It's a wonder we didn't all die out thousands of years ago. It's just so wonderful it's difficult to write down.

Can you imagine how life started off in the first place? Can you imagine how life has managed to stay sustained over all this time? Being a scientist, I can tell you that global warming is a threat and we've already damaged our planet. The damage that we've done so far means that we're probably going to die out in the next 1000 years or so. Let's not bring that forward by damaging the planet more.

I find it difficult to believe namely because of the huge amount of atmosphere that I would have to contaminate to make any difference. For every persons on on the face of the earth there is almost one million tons of atmosphere. There is nothing I could do to contamiante that large a quamtity.

If I produced my body weight (200 lbs) in pollution every day of my life and lived for 100 years the percent contamination contributed by me would be 0.3%. And that is assuming none of it settled out or got washed out by rain. Everybody loves to say, "it's a small world." but it isn't.

The planet has been around for 4 1/2 billion years and has had cosmic punches, volcanoes and earth quakes 1000 times greater than anything mankind could throw at her and she sails merrily along and will most likely do so for at least another billion years.

The only real problems we face from fossil fuels I think are localized pockets of excess pollution. And actually that in itself could possibly be a better argument for green energy than global warming....heating up the planet, that's silly.

Because the same thing is happening on mars. We didnt cause global warming their. The truth is the earth goes through cycles. Man made global warming is just a big hoax.

During the 70's they talked about global cooling and how we were going to freeze and die. Now it is global warming.

The climate changes that is a fact. It is now summer and al gore says global warming. What will happen in the winter??? Global cooling???

On top of that they say there is global warming on Mars, so how did that happen??? No cars no pollution. I think al gore has finally lost his mind.

not being a scientist myself i listen to all the hype about global warming and there's one thing that strikes me as being odd. what happened during the last ice age there were no cars, big factories ,space projects, nuclear fuels, carbon emissions, how did that ice melt did the planet heat up? until I'm told otherwise with proof of the last BIG GLOBAL WARMING 1million years ago i will not make any radical changes its sounds like the governments of the world can make a fast buck out of us all.

what casued the last ice age, you know, before there were cars. And have you ever looked to see how much co2 is put out each years, then compaired it to how much Mt. Saint Helans put out in just 15 minuts, that in its self is enough to make anyone think twice about the claim that Men are changing it.

"Chicken Little"....the sky is falling.
"The Pied Piper"....blows his flute and lures critters down some path.
"Scientists" toot their horns, pat their own backs in admiration of their own perceived higher intelligence and say the sky is falling and try to lead us down some path. Throngs of people follow their lead nodding their heads in agreement because the Scientists are soooo smart and the average person is believed to be soooo ignorant that we need their help to survive.
Scientific wisdom is extremely limited. They have a desire to become Prophets of doom. Man kind will never be able to "out do" our creator in any way, any time.
