I have a Laptop, and i have a dvd rom.

I have a CD rom for school that i have to use. The problem is when i put it into the DVD rom, nothing pops up for me to run it.

I have windows vista too and i dont know where to go to run it, if that is evern possible.

I really need help, im very confused and frusterated!

as said earlier,
click on "my computer", go to cd/dvd drive , double click, select "install" or setup" file and double click

OR

click on "my computer", go to cd/dvd drive, right click
and select "autoplay"

go to Start > Click on my computer > Then click on Drive D for the Cd rom when you put it in.

In My computer double-click the cd drive, this may start it, or there may be a program shown to do so.

CODE 10 is usually a driver issue but there are things to do and try before you bring the unit back to the store and buy a real computer

Double-click "My Computer". When it opens, you should see a CD-ROM icon. Double-click it to open it.
