Out of all the trips I've taken, I believe I've encountered beings or entities from the otherworld. Can't say for sure, but I've also been able to telepathically communicate with other tripper buddies. I'd think deeply of something, and then all of sudden, my friend would blurt out whatever it was.
Anyone else have these experiences? Most of the time you hear about bad trips. Perhaps science needs to step in and adjust or "filter" out LSD so that it becomes a tool for spirituality and gaining enlightenment. If this would work, I think we would enter a new age of evolution.

LSD affects the way you percieve yourself and the world around you. It makes even the simple things seem profound Just because a friend blurts out something you're thinking about doesn't mean you've communicated telepathically. It only means you both were thinking of the same thing. It happens every day. That's the reason for the quip "Great minds think alike."LSD isn't a way to spiritual perfection that has been proven in laboratory and field tests, besides the millions of volunteers of the 60's. T4

I am in my mid fifties and am a working professional. In my teens I did several LSD trips that changed my life for the better. Its NOT for everyone. Anyone who does not think for themselves, has a low self esteem issue, has a total lack of interest in things outside of their tiny comfort zone should STAY AWAY. But for those of you who are genuinely curious about the true nature of what you see around you, who want to experience the Divine instead of buying other peoples experience or declarations of truth, who want real answers to intelligent questions and are brave enough to be genuinely honest with themselves (this is most important).... I recommend LSD highly.
BUT Set and Setting are critical. It is NOT a party drug. It is a sacred doorway and should be treated and respected as such. Otherwise you will have a bad trip or a meaningless trip and wasted opportunity. DO NOT mix with other drugs. Especially alcohol which invites in unwantd "spirits". Be in a safe place, no distractions (phones, unwanted visitors) if you must have others with you make sure you really like them and them you. Say a meaningful prayer before you start and ask for guidance. There are Loving Divine Beings who have your best interest at heart and those are the ones you want to guide you to knowledge that will help you create a good and healthy life and soul. And we all need that kind of help. There is lots of literature about it. Just google.
Blessings!

It is one of many ways to an altered state of consciousness that takes one into the spiritual realm to commune with demon spirits. This has been admitted by many LSD drug gurus for decades and decades[and centuries for other drugs besides LSD].It is forbidden in more than one passage in the Bible, but the one that comes to mind is in Revelation where those that do not repent will have their part in the Lake of Fire.New Agers seldom need these drugs because of TM providing the same experience.Study up on Shamanism and Buddhism and Hinduism. This nonsense is ancient news. You are playing with fire.

You are right on that point - that philosophy has more depth of understanding than religion. It is because the first is honest inquiry whereas the second is unthinking acceptance alone. However, I could not in all honesty place philosophy above spirituality since philosophy deals with reasoning and logic (Intellect), but spirituality is a total involvement of one's inner being to the point that the personal self is merged into the Universal Consciousness - it is "self realization". We can never know 'what' IT is, we only know THAT 'IT' IS. Spirituality goes beyond mind.

I truly believe that you should let The Bible be the filter for LSD
or any other drug, and you will find that the most awesome trip
that you could ever take will last an eternity.
That is a trip with our awesome Lord Jesus Christ
If you don't believe me just ask him to come into your
heart and lead you onto an eternal trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Trust In Jesus!

Sorry but we use to drop 'acid' a lot back in the day. You might think you're enlightened in some way, but it only lasts as long as you're tripping.

Contrary to what your young might think, LSD is actually not good for your brain. It might be fun, but the hallucinations you experience aren't any sort of mystical experience. They are just your brains chemicals going haywire.

Sorry, no. I've seen to many things from the 1960s -- it is wrong and destructive to lives. No "enlightenment" is gained.
Nothing good can come of its use!

I don't need drugs to "enhance" my life or spirituality.
You're harming your brain, an organ upon which your whole body relies in order to continue to function properly.
