Calphalon, hands down, is my very favorite non-teflon frying pan. They often come with oven-safe handles and that makes them even more versatile!
They are heavy and coated, but not with teflon. They work awesome in the oven...I just love my Calphalon frying pans!!!
I don't know where you can get one in Ohio, but I know where you can get one online.

Bed, Bath & Beyond in Cleveland area has a decent selection of fry pans. Go to a hardware store or Amish country for a good cast iron skillet, dependent upon where in Ohio you live. I like my Farberware skillet without teflon.

I agree, go with the original non-stick cookware, cast iron.
For best results, buy Lodge brand Cast Iron.
I am using some cast iron skillets that once belonged to my grandmother, and my wife's grandmother. They are as good as they ever were, and they will be fine in another 100 years.
You can get good cast iron cook ware in small hardware stores, Wal-Mart or Target Stores, Academy Sports, Cabela's, Bass Pro Shop, or you can buy direct from Lodge.

I would go to the smaller old hardware stores that have camping accesories and get a good cast iron skillet, there are several sizes available......make sure you season it with oil after each use and washing..., , drop in some oil and then dry off excess oil with paper towel and then put it away.

get yourself a cast iron fry pan and you will never want anything else........it is relatively inexpensive and can last forever.....the one I have was my dad's and it's about 60 or 70 years old.
