took a preg test but came up neg. could it be wrong????

Hi all. Okay. So I think i am pregnant. i had unprotected sex 2 weeks ago (he pulled out). I took a preg test just now and it came up neg (it was one of those dollar ones). I am supposed to get my period tomorow (so i havent missed it yet) but i have no signs of getting a period. I have cramps (which i never get b4 periods), im tired, and i get sick to my stomach sometimes lately. Could the preg test be wrong? I took it just now (at night) and havent missed a period yet. what do you think

they are occassionally wrong for some women, but not very often. (are 99ish percent accurate on day of period, probably not much different the day before.) I think you will get your period in the next few days. But if not, test again in a few days, good luck for whatever you want the result to be.:)

I think you should wait until you can be more sure, and then use a test that's more reliable than one from the dollar store.

If you don't want to get pregnant, either get on some b/c or stop having sex. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out honey.

I think this belongs under the pregnancy category and not in singles & dating. If you want a blood test, go to the doctor.

You do know that most pregnancy tests do not work until 3-4 weeks pregnant, meaning, after you miss your period?

I would definitely wait up on taking another preg test. I would bet that you aren't. Just wait up.

the symptoms could be from stress, from worrying about this situation. give yourself a day or so and hopefully you will "start" - if not, buy a more expensive test and re take.
