yes! it means a lot actually. You are one of the lucky ones that have a direct "in" to your subconscious. That means that through your dreams you actually know your fears, your wishes and your "dreams" of your life. Most people don't know how they feel about certain issues or things that happen in their life. A vivid or lucid dreamer actrually has a chance to know exactly what they want or how they feel about things. Your dreams will reveal the real YOU to you. Meaning - if you use them correctly - as a window to your soul, they will tell you everything you want to know about yourself. Some poeple think dreams predict the future. But I think dreams define the "self". Think of your last dream. What did it reveal to you about you? What did it tell you that you felt about a situation that you didn't know? OK, if you don't get it yet, here is an example. I dreamt recently that my husband beat me. I was completely surprised about it. He never ever did in real life, nor would he ever. But what the dream told me is I trust him so much that if he ever hurt me, I would be very very surprised. And it is good to know that. So the next time you vividly dream, don't ask "will this happen" just ask, "what did I feel and what can I learn about "me" from that? It an amazing self-discovery!

It just means that your brain likes to imagine and dream things very vividly when you're asleep. It means you have a good imagination. I don't think dreams affect anything drastically...sometimes if I dream about kissing a guy I know at school that I've never even thought about before, I look at him differently for a few days, but usually reality hits in after a while, and I realize that I loved him in a DREAM, not in real life. Mhm. :)

I dream like this every day. I can feel not just the skin of the people I touch, but the warmth of their skin. And my dreams are always in technicolour and surround sound. I also keep my laptop by my bed so I can turn it on and write my latest dream in my dream diary. It doesn't make you weird.
Use this gift to your advantage. Read up on lucid dreaming and learn how to do it, and you can dream with the same detail and feelings, but you can control your dreams. This is what I do. One quick technique I use is to tell myself what I want to see in my dream. It's hit and miss whether I get what I asked for, but what I do get is lucidity every night.
Good luck, and remember, you're not weird, just different!

It's bull puckey when they say dreams don't mean anything.
I had several dreams that CAME true...I even told people about the dreams LONG before they came true.

No. Dreams are you brain synapsis firing off in various directions based on what you thought that day. They have no meaning.
