you have bought a back up /copy game of the gta san andreas. ps2 does not read back up games unless you have a modchip into your ps2 or use the swap magic 3 which reads back up games.

Why didn't you just buy the game in a store? The Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is just $20 bucks, that's not expensive at all. Just go to Best Buy or somewhere and just buy the game.
