Using tanning beds reduces the appearance of stretch marks? I have some around my navel as i lost a lot of weight healthy but quickly and some have faded but there are some stubborn ones. People have said using them could help and i also have palmers cocoa butter which is also speeding up the process but would using tanning beds accelerate the process?

tanning beds are killing your skin - they only give you bad rays (at least sun gives good and bad ones), plus stretch marks will be more visible since they dont tan - there isno melanin in that part of the skin.
just keep using cocoa butter.
everybody has them anyway on one or another part of their bodies.

i dont think so....... tanning beds just make the stretch marks stand out and look more silver! the tan makes you appear slimmer though i think.

But with sun beds you have to build a tan up gradually, and keep it. It takes about 3 weeks to appear tanned and then you need to go on them about three times a week. Its quite expensive and pointless that way, a good tanning lotion will be cheaper, helthier and more convenient if you want to try it.

Your tan fades if you dont keep using sun beds every few days.

I find that vitamin E helps. Opena capsual, and rub it onto the stretch marks every night, it can only be worth a try!

Hope this helps!
