The JW's sentenced got what they deserved for spreading a false gospel. I noticed that none of their religious material was removed...strange, while the Baptist texts were removed. The baptist were the ones who were beaten and held for hours without questioning. They bear the marks of true Christianity.
The JW's only fear being banned. Whooooppeeeedooooo! The country would be wise to do so!
It is interesting that they were both mentioned in the same article.
Our Baptist Brothers and Sisters need our prayers!

Jehovahs Witnesses fear that their preaching work will be banned in Uzbekistan because Jesus gave the commission for Christians to preach to everyone (Matthew 28:19 - Go ye therefore, and teach all nations...). This is why there are over 6.5 million JWs earth wide. Love of God and Jesus moves Jehovahs Witnesses to obey the command to preach the "good news of the kingdom".
Jehovahs witnesses have really been persecuted for what they believe in over the decades. Refusing to solute flags (because they look to Gods kingdom for peace), refusing to support war (e.g. Germany with the world wars) etc. They "pay Caesars things to Caesar, but God's things to God", which means that they will humbly submit to the worlds government unless it goes against Gods word.
To say that Jehovahs Witnesses are just "scared of being banned and not because they don't want to compromise their Christian principles" is simply not true. JWs are renowned for being persecuted for standing up for their beliefs.
Jehovahs Witnesses don't deserve persecution any more than Baptists do.
Christian Soldiers F… Do you realise that Jehovahs Witnesses are being tortured/killed for what they believe in? How sick are you for saying they deserve it?
Instead of gloating at JWs and saying that they deserve it, you should be acting like true Christians:
1 John 4:20, 21 - “If anyone makes the statement: ‘I love God,’ and yet is hating his brother, he is a liar. For he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot be loving God, whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him, that the one who loves God should be loving his brother also.”
John 13:34, 35 - "I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves."
Galatians 5:22 - "On the other hand, the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith"
1Corinthians 8:1 - "...but love builds up"
1Corinthians 13:4-7 - "Love is long-suffering and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, does not get puffed up, does not behave indecently, does not look for its own interests, does not become provoked. It does not keep account of the injury. It does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."

Wow, this anti-JW actually ADMITS SHE BLOCKS the #1 JW on Yahoo Answers. If that JW really lies, share the proof. His answers sure ring true to me, and I'm not even a JW (yet). I guess the anti-JWs don't like inconvenent answers interfering with thier pity party trash talk.

Baptists are much better than most of Christiandom, but Baptists still beleive hellfire, immortal soul, and Trinity. Now when I read the Gospels, just pick up and read any ten pages, everytime I'll find three solid points things that make no sense if you beleive that stuff. Its like the number 23.

It seems ironic that Jehovah's Witnesses are persecuted for following the plain instruction of the bible, while Baptists are persecuted for failing to follow the plain instruction of the bible (with regard to obeying secular governments in issues that do not involve compromise).
(Matthew 24:14;28:19,20) And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come. ...Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations... teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things
(Romans 13:1-7) Let every soul be in subjection to the superior authorities [that is, secular governments], for there is no authority except by God; the existing authorities stand placed in their relative positions by God. Therefore he who opposes the authority has taken a stand against the arrangement of God; those who have taken a stand against it will receive judgment to themselves. For those ruling are an object of fear, not to the good deed, but to the bad. ...But if you are doing what is bad, be in fear: for it is not without purpose that it bears the sword; for it is God’s minister, an avenger to express wrath upon the one practicing what is bad. There is therefore compelling reason for you [Christian] people to be in subjection... For that is why you are also paying taxes; for they are God’s public servants constantly serving this very purpose. Render to all their dues, to him who calls for the tax, the tax; to him who calls for the tribute, the tribute; to him who calls for fear, such fear; to him who calls for honor, such honor.

Registration with the state is a big issue for both. That is about as much as you find in common between the truth and the JW's!

This is a little misleading I would say. It says JW's are Christians. A Christian is one who follows Jesus, Jesus said he is the way the truth and the life. They do not look To Jesus for Truth they look to the Watchtower, The Watchtower is there way, and they believe works Get you life in heaven not Jesus alone. So I would say they are not Christians they a watchtowerians. They follow what man says not what Jesus says.
