Yes, I remember Cujo.
Famous old Cujo.
Cujo was a Saint Bernard - but he was out of character for that type of dog.
He was mean due to the fact that he had rabies.

Yeah I have seen the movie, and have been meaning to read the book for quite some time. He was a St. Barnard that was friendly until he was bitten by a rabid bat. After he was bitten he became mean because of the rabies he contracted from the bat. The man that owned him also wasn't very nice to him. So when Donna Trenton takes her car to be fixed in the man's Garage Cujo attacks.

In the movie, Cujo is played by a St. Bernard
In the book he was a mixed breed with some Saint in him.

Great movie for it's day. It's a stephen King early work. Rarely shown on tv anymore. If you saw it you would know why. Don't let any pregnant women watch it. By the way, Cujo was a killer dog.

yes, I've seen the movie a few times. I read that the dog was a German Shepard that was made to look like Cujo. it's amazing how they trained the dog to do some of the really mean parts and how they made that stuff coming out of his mouth to make him look like a mad dog.

Cujo was a Saint Bernard. my uncle has one and my friends often refer to him as "that big old Cujo Dog!" when they r talking about him.

Saint Bernards are known for their compassion and caring, I think ol' Stephen used him for his size.
