Planning a trip from the U.S.A. to Beijing in July 2008. What is the temperature/humidity level during this time? I would like to correspond with someone who has been there and/or is currently living there. Thanks!

July/August are the hottest and most humid months for Beijing. Expect termperatures 30/35 C and because BJ is a long way inland not much rain and occasional sandstorms depending on wind direction. But it's a fine city..as long as your plans include getting out to other more representative parts of China. Let me know if you think I can help your plans

July is hot and humid, similar to New York around the same time. Way more sticky than any place in California.

It's also dustier than the States, although I think the dust and pollution should be less next year.

I've lived there before..well..july/august are two quite sticky and hot months...personally..i can't stand it because it's too hot...but it's better than winter..it's so freezing..

well..despite the sticky weather and the warm temperature..at least you have the chance to take beautiful photos..you know the blue sky and the white clouds..

ps..remember to take insect/mossie cream/repellant wif you..still remember my last mossie bite.>.<
