What about the old soldiers? There should not be a clear outline. The job should be done, and the Iraq government should ask us to leave if they can handle the security of the nation.

None at all. My son has been there for a year and has been extended another 3 months. He should be home in Nov/Dec, hopefully. The normal tour in Iraq is now 15 months, and a lot of service members are sent back for additional tours.

There is no time line on bringing the troops home, hopefully, a change in presidents will rectify that.

It does not seem that Bush even wants to bring them home.

You mean like in Germany - oh we are still there,
Or like Japan - nope still there too
Perhaps Korea - nope have 55,000 troops in Korea still

It stuns me that America thinks its over in a few days and everyone should come home happy.

Just as soon as bush is impeached, and Nancy Pelosi and the do nothing democrats go back to doing nothing as usual.

We have no representation in DC anymore. It's all political payoff and do whatever you want, cause, what are the people going to do about it. Elections, . . . . sorry they are rigged.

When Bush isn't our president anymore - then hopefully the next president will finally fix this mess. If not, then don't expect anytime soon.
